Stunning B&B full of charm and character. The building is gorgeous, with a beautiful salon to relax and have breakfast in. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's family-owned, and Gianpiero and his girlfriend were wonderful and very friendly. They were able to accommodate me when I had to spend an extra night. Would absolutely recommend for everyone!

I didn't mind but the only comment is that the WiFi didn't work very well inside my room so I just stepped outside (literally out the door) or sat in the courtyard if I needed it.

Our host was great at communicating before our arrival and was friendly, efficient and helpful once we arrived. He supplied a very nice breakfast each morning, with lots of variety. The room was spacious and comfortable. The Palazzo was beautiful and full of family history. Modica is central to all the Val di Noto sites, an easy location to visit the coast, and much easier to access and park in than some other towns. Also plenty of good places to eat. We found it to be the perfect base for the area.

Very good location close to all attractions and Restaurants. We were also offered discounts to restaurants. Gianpiero was very polite and was always there ready to assist in all that was needed where he also went the extra mile to accommodate us. Hospitality at its best. Rooms was very spacious and equipped with all necessities. Highly recommended in Modica. Next time to visit we will definitely book there again. A big thanks to the hosts.

All was fine and up to standard and expectations!

Gianpero is an extremely helpful and wonderful host. He called us immediately when he saw our car getting towed (free parking rules changed without notice) and also offered to pay the fine while we were rushing to the site! The house is 200 years old and filled with family heirlooms which Gianpero is very proud to show and offer explanation about. He also explained all the key landmarks in Modica and gave us discount coupons for local restaurants. The room was spacious and had good heating, which is required for the old stone houses. The bathroom was also spacious and there is a generous full length mirror - always good when you are a group of girls travelling.

Honestly, there is nothing to not like. It is a beautiful home and a great host. I hope to come back for a longer stay with my family.

We almost didn’t book this B&B because it said “no parking available.” But it was located right on the main street, Corso Umberto I, with free parking across the street. You can experience the historic family life in their tastefully decorated rooms and corridors, and the bathroom was huge. Substantial breakfast, fridge in the room, lovely hosts (a father-daughter team), and we felt so welcomed. Very close to Duomo di San Giorgio, shops, restaurants and other highlights of Modica.

Old house with an atmosphere, good wibes. Very good location in the city centre. Very good breakfast. The room and bedding smelled lovely. We would come back to this house, Modica is beautiful.

We advised that we would arrive at 7:00 p.m. We arrived at 7:15 p.m. and our rooms were not ready yet. Breakfast was ready 15 minutes later, we waited in front of the dining room. Parking is hard to find, you have to find free place along the busy street.

Great place to stay in Modica, couldn't recommend one better!! Gianpiero was an exceptional host. We had a small issue with the hot water, he took care of everything asap and didn't charge us for the breakfast plan. If we go back to Modica, we will stay in the same place, no doubt. The house has the old traditional charm. It is located on walking distance from all sights, pubs and restaurants of which there are a lot in Modica. In front of the house, you can park for free, but closer to the city you have to pay. And they control this regularly.

The matrass was rather old un uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. And the bathroom is also '70's modern. But that's also the charm of this house.

The location, the friendliness of the host, the efficient communication, the lovely setting.

I was expecting a sample of the famous chocolate varieties of Modica to be available with the breakfast choices. In the shops you can take chips with a spoon for tasting, this could be available here.

great value for money. central location, beautiful palace atmosphere, old historic details, nice host. great pick if you like romantic historic atmosphere. if you want modern - go elsewhere. breakfast is good and has yoghurt, bread, coffee etc. very friendly host! have recommendations and there is water and a fridge in the room

parking on the street, sometimes you have to walk 5 mins. no problem for us.
