Review: Pietre Nere Resort & Spa - A Haven of Warmth and Luxury From the start, my experience with Pietre Nere Resort & Spa has been exceptional. The swift and effective communication with the resort stood out even before our arrival, setting the tone for our stay. The politeness and efficiency in their interactions made me feel valued, and their philosophy of creating a 'home away from home' truly shines through. The picturesque resort features a serene pool area that immediately relaxes the mind and a spa that rejuvenates the soul. While the gym is adequately equipped, more cooling would elevate the experience, and adding a couple more mats would be good. While cozy and comfortable, our room showed minor wear and tear, mirroring the bathroom. Modernizing electrical outlets for today's gadgets and multiple devices would be a welcome update. However, a special shoutout to housekeeping for their impeccable service – the efficiency and cleanliness is commendable! The dining experience is another feather in the cap for Pietre Nere. Every meal was a treat, from the delightful breakfasts served with the freshest ingredients to the BBQ lunch that tantalized our taste buds. A special mention for the dinner we had - the waiter was the epitome of hospitality. His genuine desire to ensure our happiness and satisfaction with our meal was palpable. The reception staff deserves accolades for their warmth and infectious smiles, ensuring every guest feels welcome. Pros: The scenic beauty of the resort. Exceptional dining experiences. Top-notch service from an incredible staff.

Cons: Wifi could be more robust outside the reception area. The gym temperature needs adjustment. Lack of modern electrical outlets in the rooms. Despite the minor drawbacks, the warmth and dedication of the staff overshadow them. I wholeheartedly give Pietre Nere Resort & Spa a stellar rating and remain hopeful that they'll iron out the few kinks for an even better experience in the future. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lots of places call themselves "spas," but this was really is. You are above the valley where Modica is, it's lovely, really quiet. Breakfast was out of this world, every morning. We were almost late for one breakfast (jet lag) but the staff was kind enough to wait for us to arrive. Our room faced the pool and if the weather had been warmer, I am sure that we would have taken advantage, it looked beautiful. We had somewhere to travel by taxi every day and the staff was super helpful setting up travel for our daily trips.

I can't think of anything that I "didn't like"

it looks nice, modern and very clean. The service was impeccable and the breakfast and dinner were very good! the ambience in the hotel is very appealing in general :)

I was disappointed when I ordered fresh orange juice one morning and they got me processed orange juice probably believing that they fooled us! I was in a hurry that morning and didn’t even bother complaining but I know for a fact that when others were on duty we did get real fresh orange juice. It’s a real pity that the good image of this hotel is tainted because the employee on duty did not feel like squashing oranges on the day!

The hotel is modern, spacious and fairly kept. Parking was very good. Room are quite large and comfortable. The staff were professional and ready to help. Breakfast was very good, especially the sweet section. The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed our time by the pool.

The only problem was other inconsiderate guests. Family with young kids made havoc on our floor.

The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was very selective and delicious, The location was good and easy to get to , one would need a car. The staff were very smart and helpful. Unfortunately we did not manage to use the spa and pool but we would return and highly recommend. Well done to all.

Great place for getting pampered. Luxurious breakfast, particularly on the sweet side. Everything extremely clean with ongoing maintenance on daily bases.

Given the space available I would appreciate a real fitness room with more machine and in general some fitness equipment also outside beside the pool

I really liked the staff, and the service levels most of all. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and good value for money. Breakfast was excellent. I have already recommended it to others.

There was a little problem with the AC in the room, other than that my stay was pretty much problem free...

it was very peaceful, so made a nice change from the busy towns we had visited nearby. The staff were very helpful and welcoming . The breakfast was amazing , lots of fresh fruit and delicious pastries as well as the normal eggs and bacon . Didn’t use the spa or the pool as it was unseasonably cold and windy .

All over the cleanliness, comfort, friendly and dedicated staff, the comftable room equiped with all the necessaries. Especially the breakfast and the delicious food at dinner prepared by the best chef. Nice pool. Good parking area. Tip Top Hotel

The parking was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. Beds were comfortable and hotel nice. Also staff was friendly, unfortunately not everyone speaks English..

The shower and terrace should be cleaner.. water in pool was too cold 🥶
