The location was perfect, right in the centre of the old city. We arrived by train/metro and walked from the station. Light rain was falling as we walked and it was very comforting to hear a friendly voice calling out my name as we turned the corner into the little cobblestone lane/street the unit is in. Despite the ancient surroundings the unit is very modern and clearly recently renovated and very clean and comfortable. The small luggage elevator is very welcome. The accomodation has a web site setup for guests with recommendations of restaurants, attractions, etc. that is very well done and very useful. I noted other reviews referred to a breakfast voucher, Italian law changed at the start of 2024 and it is worth noting that this is no longer able to be offered. However, we would still highly recommend Pasticceria Giovanni Scaturchio just around the corner in Piazza San Domenico Maggiore.

Nothing, would love to stay again one day and would recommend to couples.

- The location of the B&B is excellent - The room is very clean and with good amenities (bottled water and free toiletries) - The included small breakfast at Scaturchio was delicious (1 hot beverage and 1 small pastry)

- The double room is on the ground floor of the B&B, right next to the small kitchen/ coffee area, therefore all sounds from the kitchenette could be heard easily - The room is quite dark because there are no windows, only a semitransparent gated door towards the inner courtyard (no private access and no view) - The mattress could be improved

We spent two nights at A Casa Del Principe and were so happy with our stay. We were met by the owner Giuseppe, who was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The apartment is located right in the heart of the old town. There are restaurants literally just metres away. The apartment is very modern and clean. Air-conditioning and is nicely decorated. Though the apartment is in a busy neighbourhood, it was very quiet at night. When we next return to Naples, we will definitely be staying here again.

We spent two nights here and would have loved to stay longer. It was amazing! The location is great, right in the middle of the old town, the room was very clean and spacious, equipped with everything you need and a nice little balcony. Barbara is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. We were able to drop off our luggage before check-in and also store it after checkout, giving us more time to explore the city. An Italian breakfast in one of three cafés close by is included, which was a really nice way to try some typical local pastries. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime!

The location is close to many historical tourist sites and despite being close to a busy pedestrian street, the accommodation gives guests peace and quiet. It also is within easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, including the famous pizzeria, Sorbillo. In addition, Barbara, the attentive hostess, quickly responded to any text inquiries I sent her, and was very helpful in aiding my husband and I in ordering a taxi to pick us up at A Casa del Principe’s doorstep, something that is not that easy for a tourist to do in a pedestrian section of town.

I liked the property a lot and would stay here again.

Stylish, clean, very central to the old town, cute little balcony,⁹ complimentary drinks including proper coffee in the lobby, breakfast in a local cafe, friendly owner and cleaner who were helpful and informative.

Nothing really. I think the issue mentioned by previous reviewers with the steep and narrow steps to the room is actually a really clever and stylish space saving solution. The owner operates the luggage lift when you arrive to get your large luggage to your room and the cleaner can operate it again in the morning when you leave, to bring any large bags back down from the room. No problems. The room is right in the centre of the old town and so expect the sounds associated with this if you are a very light sleeper, but it didn't bother me.

Great location, beautiful room, friendly and always available owner.

The only thing I did not like was that the room does not have a window and cannot be aired, there is only a door overlooking a backyard. But this is nothing that can be solved given the structure of the building. Otherwise the room was very clean, comfortable, modern, very beautiful.

The building is right in the heart of the historical center, but it wasn’t too noisy. It’s only a 2 minute walk to Sansevero chapel and lots of pastries and nice restaurants are nearby. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, the only minor inconvenience is that there is no direct natural light, but if you spend your time exploring the city, that shouldn’t be a problem. You also have access to a very well equipped kitchenette with coffee, tea, juice and water at your disposal. Barbara is very nice, speaks excellent English and is always there to help. We really appreciated her welcoming us and also allowing us to leave our luggage a few hours after check out.

Everything!!!! Best location, always felt safe in the area around A Casa del Principe, bedroom was beautiful and clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable, water, juice and espresso available just downstairs, walking distance to many attractions, shopping and delicious food!! But most of all Barbara and Patrizia were so kind, welcoming and helpful with getting us to the train station. They really made the stay so wonderful. Get the breakfast! The sfogliatella is incredible.

There was one night is was pretty lively outside but for being right in the middle of everything I was surprised by how quiet it was overall at night.

Excellent location at the very heart of the historical centre, just a few meters away from the famous Napolitan sights & pizzerie. Spacious and clean apartment. Breakfast in neighbouring cafes included. Very kind owner. Overall good value & we would stay again in a heartbeat.

It's worth knowing there is a very narrow and steep staircase leading to the apartment (no lift), which may be a concern for someone with mobility issues/elderly people/people with babies.
