The hotel is well located in the historic district. As the hotel is part of a residential building, it was a little hard to find initially, but a quick phone call to reception sorted it. The lady at reception met us in the street and guided us into the building, and her colleague took our bags and winched them up to level 2! There is no lift access for this very old building, only stairs. We were warmly welcomed and provided with good local knowledge and information about our day trip to Caserta; she also organised a restaurant booking and departure taxi, plus we were able to have quite a lot of laundry done during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and a very generous size. If you are looking for a location in the historic heart of Naples in an apartment that has been thoughtfully restored in a building dating back to the 1500s, this is a great choice. A note for those with lots of luggage: It is impossible to reach the hotel by taxi during certain times of the day, so you must be prepared to walk a short distance across the cobblestones with your luggage during those times.

Loved the location! Right in the thick of things but when you close the door at night you're in your own little oasis of calm! It was so peaceful. Nice open space. High ceilings and some original features. It really was beautiful. And it had air con which was much needed in 40 degree heat! We were in such a good location that we could come back to the apartment and cool down every now and then before heading back out to explore further. The Gentleman on reception was very welcoming, friendly and informative. All staff had smiles which is nice to see and they allowed us to store our bags after checking out so that we could spend our last few hours exploring the city. We will definitely be back!

I really can't fault anything, we had the most lovely stay! But if i had to say something i found the corner of the bed sharp and caught my leg on it a few times when walking around to get to my side as it was a narrow area. The metal stairs up to the loft area, while beautiful to look at was a little scary at times but it would not deter me from staying again. Amazing place.

Napoli was the surprise for all of us, a vibrant, artistic and thoroughly entertaining experience. You cant miss Maradona - He's got a drink named after him and the tourist shops have him in all forms. For those who haven't been, the streets are narrow cobble stones, building really close, graffiti adorning most of the huge doors. The Palazzo apart hotel was really interesting. First the huge doorway with graffiti, and a small buzzer which when pressed opened the doors to this old yet vintage courtyard. I was greeted by Pradeep on the 2nd floor that helped us with our luggage and genuinely helped with anything we needed during our short stay. the room was the best we had on our journey - a high roofed studio loft with an ensuite bathroom on top, kitchenette below - and genuinely felt at home there! Marcella our host was really helpful, gave us a great itinerary which places to visit, eat to generally maximise our short 2 day trip - Check out tandem and ask for their specials Raghu and Genovese sauces The location is in the heart of Napoli - shops, restaurants, music, art and of course gelato everywhere.

Fantastic location in the Centro Storico of Naples, just off the Via dei Tribunali, so you are close to all the bars, restaurants and shops and the incredible street atmosphere but when you step inside the property it is like an oasis of calm. Our room looked over the interior courtyard and we didn't hear any noise from other residents either. The room was excellent. Spacious and well appointed, we had a sofa, large TV, dining table and chairs and kitchen facilities on the lower level and large bedroom space, bathroom and wardrobe on the mezzanine level. Everything was modern and very clean. Check in and out were smooth and although there is no lift in the building, the friendly staff took our cases up to the room for us. They were helpful in calling us a taxi to the airport too. Would definitely stay here again, both the room and the location were perfect.

No negatives!

The apartment was very well located in the heart of the historical center of Naples. The facilities were modern, new and clean. We were happy to find they provided bottles of water every day as well as some small snacks like biscuits, which was a nice touch. It was quiet, although the apartment was right in the center of the city - the noise from the street was no disturbance, and we had a good night sleep. Marcella from the front desk was kind to give advice about places to visit and good restaurants and even helped us with the reservation. It is a good idea to communicate on booking.com about the hour of arrival and to message them once you arrive, as the main door may be locked.

I liked everything about this property. The location was amazing, right in the historical centre of Naples and our host was so helpful and friendly. He gave us lots of useful information and tips. We only had 24 hours in Naples and wanted to visit the archeological museum but we were so in awe of Naples itself that we spent out time just wandering the streets, looking in shops and stalls and eating the amazing food that was on offer. The apartment itself is very impressive. Tall ceilings, a mezzanine level with a very comfy bed and a sofa bed all made up for our teenage daughter. The kitchen area was very well equipped with snacks and drinks. My only regret is that we didn’t have more time to spend in Naples and in the apartment. If you are looking to stay in Naples you should stay here.

I loved everything about this property. It was perfect.

Space is very adequate, loft arrangement gives the apartment an airy feel. The staff is very helpful. I found the staff's employment of WhatsApp for communication of requests novel and they were very quick to respond. The bed was very good. Daily cleaning was very thorough. The apartment is a 15 minute walk to the train station the the Museum which makes it a good choice for tourists.

The kitchen facility left much to be desired. There are no wall mounted cabinets, only below countertop. Consequently, much of the service ware (plates, cups, glasses etc) is under the counter when in most kitchen arrangements it is in wall mounted cabinets. European styled dishwashers are pretty much standard across Europe for rented apartments and this unit could benefit from one. The bathroom is... well given all the space in the loft it could be larger. Also, it's a steep climb from the living area to the bathroom.

Palazzo d’Auria gets 5 stars from me! Lots of space in our two level apartment for my adult son and me: quiet, atmospheric and sparkling clean. Excellent location in the Centro Storico, walking distance to the archeological museum and many other sites. Lots of good restaurants nearby, and a bakery right next door. Super friendly and welcoming staff, who gave us maps, information and advice. Rooms are cleaned every day and they replenish a small jar of ground espresso that comes with the room. The kitchen was nicely equipped to make breakfast ( and more meals ,although we only used it for breakfast). Also, the shower was excellent! After dealing with the intensity and chaos of Naples every day, Palazzo d’Auria was a lovely haven.

Everything was perfect!
