I had a great stay! The hotel is really beautiful and comfortable, and in a perfect location right by the waterfront. Because of the small size it feels more like a B&B than a big hotel, and the personal interaction with the staff was great. I got some very helpful and detailed information prior to my stay. It's very easy to get from the hotel to the city center, either by train, bus, or by taking a short walk. The Mergellina train station is especially good, because there are direct trains to the city and to nearby sights such as Caserta and Pompeii (and there's a lovely bakery right in front of the station). Because the hotel is located outside of the main touristic area, there are no crowds outside. There are, however, plenty of local cafés and restaurants right at your doorstep. For me it was the perfect place for my holidays in Naples.

Because the hotel is next to a busy road, there is some noise from traffic outside. There was also some noise from the building next door (ventilation or AC system), though it stopped in the night. The breakfast was nice, but it started a little late (at 8 am). Because I booked some attractions in the morning, it was a little difficult to get the timing right.

Absolutely thrilled with my stay at Micalò Art Rooms! The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly. The room offered an extremely beautiful view and was in a great location, perfect for exploring the area. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained. Breakfast was a delicious treat each morning; we couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay! The property has a unique and very artistic design. In spite of the ancient location and building. When you walk into the property, you feel as if you’re walking into an art gallery. I got the sea view room. Very clean and spacious. The staff are very nice and helpful. They helped us with our three large suitcases at the check in. They booked taxis for us whenever we needed. They are easy to communicate with and request assistance. They are very friendly people.

The fact that the toilet is upstairs. Although it’s a unique design as I mentioned, but having to climb the stairs every time we needed the toilet especially at night was a bit exhausting.

Me and my friend stayed in this lovely place for 6 days and it was amazing! The rooms are beautiful and the view as well, it feels kinda like the Italian version of Miami to be honest. Hearing all kinds of negative stuff about Naples (dirty, not pretty, loud) i was kinda worried, but i was pleasantly surprised. Micalò Art Rooms lies in a beautiful area and there's a beach just a 5min walk away (great for swimming). There is a bus station right on the opposite side of the street and a Metro station as well (was under construction though). The room was spacious, very clean and beautifully equipped. The breakfast was nice and our host was so friendly to even prepare some in advance when we had to leave for the airport early and couldn't make it to breakfast. The communication with our host Rossana was very good and she was very helpful with getting the best out of our time in Naples. All in all we'll be sure to stay here again!

Great location, a five minute walk from a small little beach, a fifteen minute walk along the ocean to Castel dell'Ovo and about half an hour to the harbour and Via Toledo (if you stroll along the promenade). The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff was exceptional, even though most don't speak english they go out of their way to accommodate you and help you in any way you need. Rossana (the host) made us feel like family, communications with her were super easy too.

Breakfast didn't have the biggest variety but it was enough to get you going for the day. No real complaints there.

The Micalo B&B is the best place to stay in Napoli for me and my friend. 1. It has a very responsive, helpful and sympathetic host and staff. We enjoyed our communication and easy going interaction. 2. The location is perfect. It is in a few bus stops from the points of interest starting Castelo Nuovo, but the distance can be easily walked by foot. 3. On the street you have many places to eat delicious food or to drink cocktails and wine. 4. The room has all you need for a good rest after long walks in the city. The bed is very comfortable. 5. Very good breakfast, rich variety of choice, including fresh baked croissants and good coffee.

The internet quality was very poor. But with good mobile data roaming plan this was not a problem actually.

The bed was super comfortable and the aircon was strong. The staff- especially Rosanna/ was super helpful and accommodating. Convenient and close to transport into the main part of town.

The plumbing was a little slow to drain and a little mould in the shower. Just be mindful of the stairs going up to the bathroom- the railing though sturdy, was a little scary at night.

The location was perfect. Close to a busstop and right in a beautiful area for both shopping and food! We really recommend staying in this area, safe and comfortable. The staff was really friendly, thank you for a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was ok, nothing wrong with it. But only not very extensive. Good enough!

The overall stay was good. There was a good location, nice and friendly staff, nice and clean room, small and nice breakfast in the morning. Staff was reacting really quickly if there were any problems.

Internet wi-fi did not work at all. There was no hot water, after telling this for staff it was fixed very quickly but last day hot water was gone again, maybe this is an issue. One day we found our room doors open, maybe after cleaning staff did not check if they locked room doors.

Amazing room, everything clean and functional. the location was perfect for my needs as I had to attend an interview at the American embassy. The lady that reached out to me to share the check in info was super nice and helpful.

the shower head was leaking, nothing major or game changing but it’s a tiny improvement and an easy fix that would make things feel more polished.
