The breakfast was OUTSTANDING! The staff was lovely. We had the room with the pool into it and it was charming, with a wine cave window on the floor. Incredibly spacious and somewhat reminiscent of Valle D'Itria trulli in the sense that it has those cave-like white stone arches. We loved the little expandable kitchen, too. It is meticulously appointed, cleverly designed and very comfortable. The location is right in the middle of everything - shops, restaurants - tho it's surprisingly quiet. They also had a cute little garden area, where you could enjoy your morning cappuccino.

Tho the bath in the bedroom was lovely, there was really no option to take a shower. There was a shower head on the faucet, but it made no sense to stand up and hold it. We were on vacation so we still enjoyed the baths - but it would be nice to have the option. You did need to ask for some things - more toilet paper, tissues, soap refills, but they were always very nice enough to accommodate.

We stayed at the suite with indoor pool and it was honestly the most beautiful room we’ve ever stayed in. Everything looked so beautiful. Very clean, lots of space. The service was also very good. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was located right in the centre of the city and also close to a big parking space so very convenient. Would definitely book again.

The only thing I could think of is that we missed a shower in the room. We had a bath but when you wanna be quick a shower is a bit easier. But that’s really the only thing.

Unrivaled location, a place of ultimate serenity and relaxation in the middle of a hot, bustling town. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the staff couldn’t do enough. My husband and I left on separate flights so I spent the last day there alone, heavily pregnant. Being able to use the lounge and dining area after checkout was greatly appreciated and Alice went above and beyond to arrange airport transfers and assistance with my luggage. It was greatly appreciated!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the II Sogno delle Benedettine in Ostuni, Italy. What a wonderful and artful space to wake up in and made better by the caring attention to it and us by owner Francesco and manager Alice! From their gracious assistance and details to the room, breakfast, local dining and transportation. They were both so kind. We stayed in the suite with private pool. Our room was well appointed and spacious. We really felt we were away on a spa holiday when we returned from our adventures of the day. Alice’s breakfast in the AM was delicious and set us up well for the day! My wife and I were sad to leave but look forward to returning one day soon!

Very central location. Lovely welcome from Alice who was exceptional. She made our stay very pleasant. Also the owner Francesco was very attentive..Breakfast was really good with fresh local produce..

A lot of steps but it is in keeping with the restoration of the property which is very tastefully renovated. We had a step down into the bathroom which could be a problem for some.

The location is great to visit the old town. Renovated nicely.

The breakfast time window and checkout time are too tight. On holiday you would prefer not to rush to leave the room before 10. No privacy at breakfast. They have a beautiful garden, so why not offer breakfast there. If you travel light, only body wash and shampoo provided. For the price, more toiletries would have been appreciated.

Everything! The attention to detail of the conversion is amazing and surprising in the best way. It is both beautiful and unique with fun touches that make you smile. We loved their vision from the mix of old and new furniture, beautiful artwork and the fragrance. Breakfast was delicious and having candles lit was really special. Alice was so helpful and professional without being too formal. We totally fell in love with the place and hope to return.

I truly recommend it. It’s downtown Ostuni, at the entrance, but quiet. For those who don’t like big hotels, with bracelets, and anonymous and cold decoration and environment, this is the right place to stay. The breakfast is simple. With just a few local options, as we should do in this moments of global food crisis. Love it

The decor was beautiful. The bathroom in particular was amazing. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was good. Also it is in the historic centre, and close to everything.

The location, which makes it perfect, is also it’s main issue. It is a hike up the hill, but the hotel did offer to arrange a tuktuk to carry us and our luggage up. We ended up just walking up ourselves, and while it was steep, it took less than 5 minutes probably.

Very comfortable and spacious room, and very welcoming staff who were happy to assist with everything. With a late return flight they gave us access to the lounge and garden during the day which was much appreciated.

Although the bathroom was very stylish and a powerful shower, with steps leading up to it, perhaps a rail would be useful.
