This place really exceeded our expectations! The place is just super nice and cosy🫶🏻 Our room was very comfortable, clean with amazing view in the garden, sea and sunset🥰❤️ House is located in the field full of flowers🥰 If you arrive by car, the location is just the best! You have some very nice restaurants nearby, salt pans, grocery stores and the city is just some 15 mins drive. Host Giovanna is just the cutest we could have met, she is very positive and attentive to details🥰 Very helpful and hospitable🫶🏻 We stayed here for 4 nights and every morning she cooked us delicious breakfast including tipical Sicilian pastry, eggs, riccotta,tomatoes and olives from her garden and home made orange jam❤️

The hosts were super friendly and really made the stay such a nice experience. The garden is amazing, with wievs of the sea and the remains of an medieval salt warehouse. They have a garden with a charming pomegranate tree, a field of melons and tomatos, which are obviously served as breakfast (which also comes with a superb homemade dessert, sicilian cannelon). Also, the room was clean and really nice, the bed and the pillows were comfortable. To cap it of, two really nice restaurants nearby.

The location is unique, in front of "le saline", with Favignana island always very visible, in fact all 3 Egadi islands were visible. It is a short drive (20-40 min) from many sites worth visiting any time of the year, from Erice, Segesta and Selinunte to Trapani and Marsala. The place is wonderfully quiet, we slept 9 hours plus both nights we were there. The sunset from the upper porch is stunning when the sky is clear (one of the 2 evenings we were there in December), but even when there are some clouds (the first evening), the scene is wonderful. The room was very clean, the smell of the bed sheets and towels was the one I remember from my youth when clothes were allowed to dry outdoor in the sun. Breakfast is as good as it gets: Giovanna the owner offered delicious Sicilian pastries the first morning, and at our request, a salty breakfast the second morning, which included olive oil, fresh tomatoes with oregano, olives and artichokes preserved under oil, all from her garden. She even accommodated our request to eat outside and moved table, chairs and everything in the sunny garden, something that we, coming from Wisconsin, appreciated a lot in December.....Giovanna also very graciously allowed us to stay longer the day of our departure to rest before the evening flight from Trapani airport. In sum, the place is excellent and Giovanna is the best host you might imagine, always available and always wonderfully warm.

Loved the welcome and the homey feeling of this amazing b&b. The host took care of me like a mother and helped me with my entire trip for booking my outings and everything because I wasn't able to communicate with the locals in Italian. I will definitely go back to this b&b not just to enjoy Sicily but to see the host and visit her.

Breakfast was great

Giovanna Sugemele, the host, was very pleasant, but unfortunately she didn't speak a word of English, and I didn't speak a word of Italian, so communication was a real challenge to the point we were both having to use Google Translate on our phones.

Very nice location, remote, quiet and with an interesting view on the "salinas", while actually very conveniently located to discover Trapani, Marsala and the surroundings. Very very friendly and welcoming host... and the homegrown breakfast was outstanding !

We love everything! Giovanna is the best host we ever met and possbily best BnB experience in Italy so far. Very friendly, very caring ❤️Room is clean, silence at night is respected, very comfortable, cosy. Terrace and private entrance, breakfast with nice view, delicious cornetto con ricotta. Saltpans within the walking district.

Charming house in the salt district with a wonderfull view to the fields and the sea with natural sculptures in the garden. Our hostess Giovanna was exceptionally friendly and helpful despite the lack of a common language.

Take care to follow the location instructions on the booking.com confirmation as there is a street of the same name in a nearby town.

This is a unique property set it the salt pans area. It is very rural, but that is a big part of the appeal. Hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating, and we were able to communicate despite a language barrier (we speak English, she didn't). Would highly recommend to people interested in this unique area.

When you feel like home...a good home..you know you are in the right place. Good location to explore the area. Host...just great. Breakfast, local and tasty. Calm area to get a good nights sleep.
