It was our second time there, so we knew what to expect- fantastic location, great breakfast, very effective air-con, a sweet coffee machine in the room and, first and foremost really, the best host EVER, who makes you feel like coming back to Trapani again, and again, and again! We also loved the endless drinking water supply, coming to the rack in the dining room in reusable glass bottles. The place generally is very keen on keeping its operations in an environmentally friendly way. What's new? Well, the place has grown! There are more rooms now, there is a proper dining room (rather than the two or three little tables in the kitchen last summer), and it isn't Gaetano who deals with the breakfast now but Cristina, a very friendly new face around. Grazie mille for the wonderful experience! ❤️

What is there NOT to like??? ❤️

The hosts Gaetano and Rosalia were terrific and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The B&B is perfectly located opposite the Ferry & Regional Bus Terminal and only a short (10 min) and easy to find walk from the Train Station. Our room was very comfortable and contained all we needed for our 4 day stay in Trapani. The breakfast was served daily by Rosalia who personally catered for whatever we required for the morning from a sweet Sicilian Breakfast to Meat & Cheese, Fruit and Toast. Rosalie's cakes were very good and we couldn't have asked for more. Gaetano drove us to the Train Station on our departure which was very much appreciated. The B& B is highly recommended for a short stay in Trapani. Thanks for your hospitality Gaetano. & Rosalia

Nothing at all to fault

Gaetano made our stay a very unique experience. He received us very friendly, brought fresh drinking water and was always avaible on whatsapp or inside the B&B if there were questions. It all made the B&B feel very warm and family-like. We were asked about our breakfast preferences, he recommended us what to do in Trapani and even drove us by car to a shopping place when it was raining. We would definitely recommend the B&B because everything was on top level - the communication, the rooms, the whole experience.

Super friendly host - Gaetano and Rosalia were there every morning to serve us breakfast (freshly beked croissants!), the bed was very comfortable and I really liked the linen:) also we appreciated the overall cleanliness and comfort of the whole place and last but not least - the washing machine :)

The narrow streets of old town can be noisy so have your ear plugs:) also if you travel by car, be aware that there is no free parking nowhere around and you can't park by the main streets (even on paid parking spaces) during the night, because of night street washing. Hint - we finally parked at Vittorio Emmanuele square (10-15 min walk)

The hosts, Rosy and Gaetano are the nicest, friendliest people you could hope to meet. They were so welcoming and incredibly accommodating, they simply couldn't do enough for us. They serve breakfast personally, with the most delicious, super-fresh Italian pastries, straight from the oven - along with lovely fresh coffee, fruit juice, yogurt, and more. You can also opt to go to a nearby cafe for your complimentary coffee and croissant, should you prefer, and there is also a coffee maker + coffee in the room. The room was excellent, and right on the port, a corner or two away from the pretty 'Centro Storico' which is full of cafes, lively bars and restaurants (Gaetano gave us some top tips for lunch and dinner options). The location could not be better with the bus stop for the airport, Palermo, etc, literally outside the front door.

The whole apartment was amazing. The room was wow! So clean, amazing fragrance, well stocked, comfy with a balcony view to the Porto. The water in a glass bottle was my favourite. It was already in the fridge. The breakfast was a good choice of Italian breakfast. Giatano was so welcoming & the lady who served the breakfast was so kind & lovely. Honestly we loved our times here. We will be back! Grazie mille

Well, if you are looking for a super-host, look no further! Gaetano is EVERYWHERE at the same time, entartaining you with smalltalk, giving useful advice, preparing breakfast, cleaning up, taking you for the best ice cream in town, and so on, and so forth. And all that with a beaming smile and tonnes of enthusiasm. The room is very nice and modern, too, with efficient aircon, a lot of well organized storage space, a lot of light, a fridge, a coffee machine, phone changing station, comfortable beds and lots of cushions. The bathroom is very practical; the shower cabin, however, could be a bit bigger but then, I could also be a bit smaller. We will be very happy to come back. Grazie mille! 💗

Our stay at Il Profumo del Porto was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The breakfast was abundant, and the room was comfortable and clean. The B&B is across the road from the bus stop and right opposite the ferry while the city centre is easily reached on foot. The hosts are super hospitable and friendly. Grazie, Gaetano e Rosalia. Speriamo di rivederci presto!

Our host gaetano was a real gentleman. He even gave us a city trip showing us the main attractions. B&B is just opposite the bus stop that connects you to birghi airport/ Palermo, 5 minutes away from the city centre and 5 minutes away from the train station. B & B is extremely clean and comfortable and newly decorated. I am already looking forward for my next trip here. Definitely 10/10.
