Filippo and his beautiful mother at Casa Camilla really make you feel like part of the family. My friends and I looked forward to our breakfast chats every morning and our car rides to the train station (which is a lovely free service that they provide as well as bikes to get into town). Not a bad word to say about our stay, the our suite room was absolutely lovely (especially loved the bathroom) and I will definitely be booking again if I ever return to this region of Italy. Padova was also a great affordable alternative for us - rather than staying in Venice we did a few day trips which were only a 25-30min train ride away!

Just on a side note, this is NOT a paid review. Great apartment, super clean with all possible amenities in a beautiful green part of Padova. Amazing breakfast with a lot of option, served by the host family who are all super kind and family. You feel like part of the family in the best sense! But the very best part of our accommodation was the kindness and hospitality of Filippo who had been the best host I have ever met in my long list of travel experience. Without his expert tips and hints our vaca has not been so perfect as it turned out to be. Seven stars for him and Casa Camilla!

Nothing I could think of.

Our stay at B&B Casa Camilla was an absolute delight! We chose the apartment close to the main house and couldn't have been happier. It was not only spotlessly clean but also incredibly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. The linens were a pleasant surprise – so crisp and comfy! Plus, the kitchen had everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Now, let's talk about breakfast – it was a homemade feast served in the main house and it was a real treat. The coffee was superb, and there was such a delicious variety of food to choose from. But what really made our stay special was Filippo, our fantastic host. He welcomed us with warmth and shared all the insider knowledge about Padova. His recommendations, along with a handy map and some fascinating historical tidbits about the town, made our visit so much richer. He also gave us some invaluable tips for our trip to Venice, saving us both money and time. All in all, our stay at B&B Casa Camilla was absolutely amazing, thanks to Filippo's exceptional hospitality. I highly recommend this place to anyone exploring Padova and beyond.

What was there not to like? Like for real. This was the BEST stay we had during our Italy trip. Such a warm welcome by Filippo and his family. A very informative guide, with all the tips you won't find in the apps or via Google. Bikes you can use to go to the city, including a selfmade tourmap by Filippo. Highlighted the best route for our bike ride, places where to stop to look at the architecture or where we can eat the best food. And from there it's the best way to visit Venice by train, where we were dropped at the station by his father. And with a note from Filippo which train to take. What a great, nice and overwhelming service they provide at Casa Camilla. And don't forget about the mother, baking the best cakes ever, home made juices and a variety of products for breakfast.

That we only stayed 1 night, that was too short. You need to stay there more than 1 night for sure.

The owner of the hotel, Philippo personally picked us up from the train station and dropped us off there the next day. He prepared maps to help us get the most out of Padova and was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast was delicious with fresh products. The flat was big, fully furnished, in a quiet neighborhood and very clean. Also it was cozy and you could find everything you needed (and maybe didn't even think about) there. Even in a 4 star hotel in Italy we weren't given water and here it was ready for us in the fridge. There was even a personal note beside the bed welcoming us, written in our own language, Polish. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend this property!

Everything was perfect!

Casa Camilla exceeded our expectations! Very authentic and charming atmosphere. You will never find a more convenient parking spot - just feet away from your room. Of course, the best part of staying at this place is the friendliness of the host family! Filippo is absolutely the best there is - knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping the guests! He is proud of his city Padova and it shows! I even told him that he is not charging enough! His answer was that he wanted to give people a good value for the money - and that is an understatement! The breakfast alone was worth the price of the stay! I just wish we had stayed longer to enjoy their hospitality and see more of the city!

Absolutely NO complains!

I cannot praise this exceptional accomodation and the family which runs it enough. The accomodation is clean, stylishly decorated and furnished. The family and Pipo are hosts which you don't meet every day, you feel welcomed and cared for from the moment you book to the moment you leave. I've never had a better experience than this one on Airbnb and even in some high end hotels that I've stayed so far. They are really going an extra mile for every guest. The city centre is very close, whether with a bus or bycicle, and Pipo will make sure you don't get lost along the way 😊. If you ever happen to be around Padova, don't think twice and book this accomodation - I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Everything was perfect, we cannot really complain about a thing.

Casa Camilla is a really good place to stay. Filippo is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the history, art and culture of Padova. The whole family is involved in running Casa Camilla, and the breakfast in particular is outstandingly good. Filippo takes great pride in carefully sourcing high quality Italian produce - the ham, cheese and freshly squeezed Sicilian orange juice deserve special mention. And really good homemade cakes on the sideboard at breakfast! If they can find any excuse for going in themselves, the whole family is keen to help you get into town in the morning, and you stand a good chance of geting a lift if it's at all possible. I agree with Filippo's advice that you can very easily fill 3 days taking in all the culture that is on offer in Padova. (But we didn't find the Urbs Picta card was worth buying.)

Older visitors should realise that you are not likely to want to go back in the middle of the day for a siesta, so you should plan to be in Padova for the full day. If you are staying in the "double room", you might want to take care on the 2 steps down into the shower. Apart from that, I have nothing but praise for the whole place. The walk home from the railway station is about 25 minutes, mostly on a very quite road, and Filippo provided clear details of various alternatives like bus and taxi.

Everything was very nice and as we hoped. Filipo and his family are very friendly and communicative, they make you feel very welcomed. The breakfast was so good! We stayed in the annex apartment with a garage - quiet neighbourhood, very close to the main house, felt very safe. The apartment was very clean with everything you need. They also have bikes, 10min to the city centre - a great location, close to the city, but with your car safely stored away. Everything was perfect! And the garden of the house - so lovely.

This is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at. The place is very authentic, the family of the owners is so friendly and helpful. Interior is nice and clean and the breakfast was really great: fresh local ham and cheese, fresh juice and homemade cakes and croissants. Even if I had a choice between this place and 5-star hotel for the same price, still I would stay here. As a bonus, there is a great authentic pizzeria in 20 Meyers from the hotel with one of the best pizzas I ever had. Highly recommended.

Nothing, this is really a very good place to stay at.
