Stayed 11 days here. Breakfast in the morning until 10am was great way to start the day. Staff always asked if we wanted cappuccino, espresso, macchiato and offered hot chocolate to my daughter. Always had fresh fruit. Kiwis, grapes, watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe. Delicious warmed croissants. Chocolate, creme, and apricot jam. Tasty meats and cheeses. Special cake of the day. Very pleasant, lovely experience. Front desk had helpful recommendations on everything we were looking for. Try Pizzeria La Pavana nearby! Bus station to Marco Polo airport is easily walkable and a good way to get to and from the airport from the hotel. Very glad to have stayed here.

People loitering out late at night by the McDonald’s in front were a bit sketchy, but no one ever bothered us.

Very polite people and clean with good breakfast hotel. Boiled and scrambled eggs, also mortadella and prosciutto and one cheese. The room we had with the king size bed had a very comfortable mattress and a desc to work in our laptop. Rend a bike, it’s very helpful. There is a big parking at the other side of the hotel. Opposite from the hotel it is the bike road. Download the ridemovi ap. With this you can find bikes all over the city for 11 euros per month and additional around 1.20 euros per time for the electric bike to go downtown (which is easier to find them all over the city).

I didn’t like the place so much, as I didn’t feel safe to come back alone at the night and it was in a busy road with bus and trams and 20 min by foot from the center, though being exactly at the other side of the train station was very helpful when we arrived tired and when we left very early in the morning. Rent a bike for the distance.

Beautiful representative old building, located centrally close to the train station, but the area is somewhat "low market". Close to the "Giotto Chapel", but a foot walk of about 15 minutes to the old town squares. The rooms are spacious but with the limited charm of IKEA-like furnishing.

Internet connection is a bit spotty. Also see above.

The interior of the old building is very well restored. Nice room with space and a nice view of the train station.

During the evening, a lot of immigrants stand near by the hotel entrance. Not dangerous, but intimidating.

Staff were very welcoming and spoke English (our Italian ability is shameful). Breakfast was very good in an attractive room with efficient staff. Very close to the train station meaning a quick arrival and get away, which is what we wanted.. I was concerned about other reviews about the area, and although there were definately a few odd characters about, they were no problems Approx 15 min walk into old town, maybe not so great for a lone female later in the evening but suited us well. Decent price, dated appearance of room but everything functional and comfortable and spacious.

Nothing significant to comment upon. We were pleased with our stay for one night at the end of our holiday.

This grand old hotel retains the excellence of its past. The building is spacious and beautiful, the staff well-trained, intelligent and personable, and the breakfast one of the very best we’ve had anywhere. It is the ideal place to stay in Padua, a few steps to the train station and the tram going south into the central city. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip to Italy and France, with visits to the Scrovegni and other artistic sites mixed in with enjoying the beautiful city and mixing with the students in the cichetti bars. Highest possible recommendation, and we look forward to returning!

I can’t think of a weakness.

I liked that its right near the railway station and we can walk right to the hotel with our luggage . There is a cafe - Il Pasticcere right next to the hotel which has tasty croissants and good coffee all priced decently - so if you are skipping out on breakfast in the hotel grab something here . There is a small supermarket at the railway station - where you can get fresh fruits and other supplies if needed . Bed was very comfortable. We stayed in July and the AC worked great ! It runs on auto mode , and cant turn the cooling down below 20 C. We took the bus to go to city centre and to the Basilica of St Anthony . Over all great stay !

We were informed there would be a supplemental charge of 30 euro per night for our 4 year old child to stay in our room . We had said we didn't need an extra bed , since she sleeps with us . I expected we would need to pay extra for her. This is the only hotel in all of our Italy travel to charge us so high !

Had a good stay here and would stay again as good value overall - staff very friendly and helpful. It was clean, comfortable. The breakfast was decent and I looked forward to it every day- good choice of food - everything was laid out in time for 7am which was really useful in terms of getting an early start. Excellent location next to the station, so if you are looking to use Padova as a base for other places as we did, definitely the place to stay.

As others mention, the hotel is a bit dated and there was a bit of background noise from outside. It didn't turn out to be too bad for us - the noise isn't too bad outside, partly because although there are some buses that stop at the station, no cars are allowed which I think makes a big difference. It definitely wouldn't stop me staying here again

Very nice variety for breakfast. It was nice to have scrambled eggs and bacon again for breakfast. Other good variety of choices as well. Room was spacious. Hotel was clean, easy to get to, and friendly staff.

Bed was a little too firm and the pillows were rather flat, for our preference. A bottle of water would have been nice. The location was great next to the train station, however, the clientele around the hotel was sketchy.

The hotel was very close (a few minutes' walking distance) to the train station and a private parking lot. Our bedroom was large, quiet, comfortable, and well equipped (our bed was extremely comfy). Staff members were very kind and keen to help. Hugely recommended for business purposes.

The parking lot wasn't too easy to locate and access, though we did get there with the staff's help. Prices were fair though not cheap; the breakfast fee (€10 per person) seemed particularly overpriced so we didn't go for it (it wasn't included in our original offer).
