I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The attention to detail in the room was remarkable – it was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The location couldn't have been more perfect – close to popular attractions yet nestled in a quiet neighborhood, providing a peaceful night's sleep. What truly stood out to me was the level of care the staff exhibited. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, making recommendations for local experiences that made my trip truly memorable. I can confidently say that this hotel will be my top choice for future visits.

The breakfast was based only on sweet products. But was good.

Laura is an amazing host. She goes above and beyond to make sure that guests are happy with their stay. I really appreciated her helpfulness and our friendly chats. The room was great. It had a small kitchen and all kitchenware one would need. The Wifi was amazing - good for streaming movies and working. Location is great - it is 40 minutes of slow walk from the historic centre (or just 10 minutes by bus). It's a place where locals live, so its full with supermarkets, restaurants etc. - everything is very convenient. Breakfast is classical Italian and Laura makes sure to that guests have different pastries every day - it's really yummy and interesting, because many things she serves are traditional. Coffee is available all day long. And the terrace is simply amazing - so cozy and lovely.

Laura and cosimo were excellent hosts, they make the most amazing breakfast every morning with Italian coffee/Nespresso and orange juice, the room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was well designed with a huge sink and the shower had good pressure and temperatures. I plan to return to Palermo in September and I will definitely be staying at la terrazza del sole again, and any other time in the future I would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Laura and Cosimo were fantastic hosts - every morning a different Sicilian breakfast was provided along with their home made cakes and olive oils. Laura provided us with. great map at the beginning of the stay which showed all her favourite places to go out and explore. The terrace as beautiful and loved having breakfast out there every day. Rooms were comfortable.

location is great for a quiet nights sleep with no street noise but it’s about a 40 minute walk to the centre with the restaurants which was fine for us The walls were quite thin so when other guests arrived back late at night the doors being slammed shut would wake everyone else up

Laura is an amazing host, with a big smile of welcome and willing to help in anything you might need! She loves her place and this shows in every little thing that she does-from the little lemon tree and plants in the roof garden to the little pies she offers for breakfast.

The room and bathroom where seperated and that was a bit unconvinient if you think that other guests were also around. The place is a bit far from the center at least for someone who wants to have a walking distance from it. Nevertheless the appartment is a very nice area with a lot of top rated restaurants for a great dinner :)

The rooms were big, clean and very nice! The location is perfect - 15-20 minutes from the city center. But the best part of this bed and breakfast is the owners Cosimo and Laura and the amazing breakfast! They are so nice and cheerful, the terrace where the breakfast is served is amazing, and the food is excellent! This B&B made our stay in Palermo the best!

Cosimo and Laura are wonderful. Accessible, nice and made our stay extra pleasant. Every morning they serve breakfast on the terrace and since I'm celiac, Laura even made me a gluten-free cake. On the first morning, they marked on the map of Palermo, explained and recommended what we should see in Palermo. The rooms are neat and clean, the location is great, close to bus stops, and you can also go on foot or by electric scooter. We definitely recommend this BnB. Grazie Laura e Cosimo 🤗

The host are super friendly and helpful, they make a very tasty and local breakfast everyday. The rooms are.very comfortable and although the place is very warm, with the air conditioning is manageable. Great location with restaurants and shops, although is not in the center. The bus and metro are super close.

The bathrooms are across a hall.

Wonderful location, and the host was very friendly and helpful. Provided a map of the town & highlighted historical sights and the best restaurants to try. The rooms & property were very clean, and had a terrace at the top floor that the host served breakfast from every morning. If I return to Palermo, I would happily book here again! There is also a paid parking garage across the street, which was an absolute miracle. If your going to be driving in Palermo, it's worth doing a little research to see what your getting yourself into. Make sure you have insurance!
