The property was a perfect place for a retreat! It was beautiful, quiet and close to the town without being in the middle. It was perfect.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 days for a friends wedding in the area and were blown away at the service but most of all the restaurant. We have been travelling throughout Italy since our stay here, and we have both agreed that the food we got in the restaurant at Kursaal was incredible. We are big foodies and love and appreciate good food and it was truly very, very good here. Would 100% come back!!!! Staff was extremely friendly and courteous as well.

Relaxing, beautiful location on Lake Trasimeno. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. The room was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed . The bathroom is a little dated but spacious and clean with plenty of hot water for a shower. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We had dinner there most nights and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff is probably the best asset of this resort. Everyone is so pleasant and extremely helpful. We didn’t realize that the campground was a part of the hotel property. But actually,that just added to the appeal . And since we were traveling for 6 weeks having access to a washer and dryer was so convenient. We did walk into the center of the town of Passignano a few times during the day, but I wouldn’t do it at night because you are walking on a very busy road. Access to a car is definitely a plus to explore the beautiful area. Upon writing this review we’ve been to two other locations, and we keep wishing we were just back on the lake !

WE SPENT 5 DAYS IN KURSAAL. I HAD BEEN THERE A FEW YEARS AGO AND WANTED TO RETURN FOR IT'S LOCATION AND GOOD SERVICE. THEY GAVE US A ROOM IN THE FIRST FLOOR OVERLOOKING LAKE TRASIMENO WITH A BIG TERRACE WHERE WE COULD ENJOY OUR FOOD OR JUST SIT TO RELAX. BREAKFAST IS SUPER EXCELLENT, FROM DRY FRUITS TO FRESH AND ALL IN BETWEEN. EGGS, MEATS, WONDERFUL CAKES AND DESSERTS, ETC. IMPOSSIBLE TO EAT IT ALL BUT BIG HELP TO START THE SIGHTSEEN DAY. THEY HAVE FREE BIKES, TWO POOLS A WHIRLPOOL AND A BEACH ON THE LAKE. VERY QUIET AND WONDERFUL VIEW OF THE HISTORIC LAKE. A STEP AWAY FROM CORTONA, PERUGIA AND CASTIGLIONE.

This resort was so much fun. We stayed in the hotel while other guests were at the campsites on the property. Guests were from all over Europe. The pool area was clean and refreshing. We borrowed the free bikes several times and there are easy trails to ride around the lake and into town. We had breakfast and 2 dinners at the restaurant and the food was excellent.

An exceptional location right by the lake, surrounded by magnificent trees - a perfect place to enjoy and relax by the pool…but also a good base for exploring Umbria and Tuscany. The hotel has a lot of charm and a lovely ambience, a very good restaurant, nice rooms with comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the balcony. It's quiet, clean and well maintained and the staff is also very friendly and helpful… and our dog was welcome too! We loved everything about this place…Highly recommended!

The welcome from all the staff on arrival was absolutely 100% after a weary journey from Ireland by air and train/taxi… the owner/principal (Bruno) was excellent with plenty of advice and assistance with getting into nearby Passignano sul Trasimeno… we will be forever thankful to Hotel Kursaal for making our stay in Italy very memorable and fulfilling! Thank you to all at Hotel Kursaal 😄😄🏆🏆

Friendly staff, good location next to the lake, swimming pools, tasty and fresh breakfast, cosy room, lift, green environment around, good access to the high way, hotel bicycle available for a ride

great location right on the lakeshore with heated pool and hot tub. Restaurant was better than normal for a hotel with nice ambiance which lacks in most Italian restaurants. Our room was very clean and well organized.

Rooms on first floor were somewhat noisy due to proximity to front desk and bar area. Was eventually quiet later in evening which was good for sleeping.

very friendly hotel staff, they could not have been more helpful. Breakfasts were good, but, coffee was excellent. evening meal fixed menus and house wine were outstanding value and always interesting. Room was spacious with a lovely terrace with views of the lake.

There were mosquitos in the area but we applied repellent and had no bites. Not an issue unique to this hotel or area .
