Wonderful staff, Mary at reception was very nice and helpful, delicious and generous breakfast, beautiful property surrounded by olive trees and vineyards.

Room furniture was basic, bed mattress and pillows were really too firm. Would have appreciated a coffee machine in the room.

Stunning location nestled among vineyards and olive trees with a well-kept pool. Our own garden patio let us enjoy the beautiful grounds even more. Breakfast and coffee was really good including tomatoes from the garden and omelette and scrambled eggs made ready to order. Staff were friendly and owners personally thanked us for our stay.

Our room was a bit small, but everything else was exceptional.

A great place, that made the days at Elba perfect. Staying at a vineyard in Italy is a dream (even for me who doesn't drink). It was a quiet and nice place. The staff helped us much more than they had to. Because of a misunderstanding, we didn't get our car with us on the ferry to the island. The owners brought us, and drove us back to the centre the day after (to pick up our car). It had a nice swimming pool with sun beds. The breakfast was a perfect start of the day. They make their own wine and olive oil.

The blankets were a little thin, but that is a problem in Italy as a whole, not just at Santa Caterina. If you don´t have a car, it´s a bit off road. But with a car, it´s a great place to start to explore the island. The owners didn't speak much English, so the communication was a challenge, but when everyone try to understand each other, it works out fine. In total: there is actually nothing to dislike.

Stunning grounds, beautiful pool, lovely staff and breakfast was wonderful. Good location only a 10 minute drive to the bustling port of Portoferrio and a number of picturesque beaches on the North side of the Island.

Our host Mary and the whole team were fantastic. Super friendly and helpful and full of useful local tips.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tenuta Santa Caterina. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room was lovely and the views are amazing. So lovely to have sweet and savoury breakfast buffet too. We were greeted with a bottle of wine in our room as we celebrated our honeymoon. Would 100% recommend

Amazing elegant and peaceful place to stay and explore the Elba island. The property is beautiful, the staff is very nice and the breakfast was incredible. Everyday there were fresh pastries waiting for us, delicious coffee and savory options as well :) location is great, close (but not too close to) downtown Portoferraio, and minutes away from the Napoleon second residency. Easy access to all the amazing beaches in Elba via vehicle. The wine produced there (San Giovanese) was incredible. All in all an amazing stay at a wonderful (clean, well maintained) property.

Just one thing, it would be nice to have complementary water bottles in the bedrooms (they were available at cost on the minibar) :)

Tenuta Santa Caterina is a wonderful place to spend time at on Elba. The pool is wonderful, the staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast delicious.

Lovely. Beautiful, well maintained property, everything was to the point.breakfast was a beauty . Our ferry was in the afternoon, and they allowed us kindly to use the pool ( and what a pool!!) even after check out. And absolute treat. Thank you again for a great experience.

Excellent staff, excellent location, delicious breakfast, beautiful pool and gardens and views.

Faulty toilet flush, poor quality pillows, very hard mattress. Pool towels were not changed within our 4 night stay. Considering the pricing it would be nice to see improvements with these things.
