I visit Elba for a short break each year, it is close to my home in Lucca. The service is amazing, great location, it has a pool and a private beach with transport. This is very much an old style hotel, with great service. I travel and stay in a lot of hotels and this one stands out for being classic and I love it. Stand out service from the staff who are always very polite and friendly. I had one small problem on my last stay, they went beyond anything I expected to solve a very minor issue, incredible. I have payed a lot more in other luxury hotels with terrible service. See you again in 2025.

There was nothing bad to report.

I was appointed with a corner room - spacious with two windows both overlooking old pine trees. I never had a nicer view from a hotel room! During the warm summer night, a cool breeze is keeping you pleasantly cool. The furniture and sanitaryware were a bit outdated but well kept and clean. The hotel is in a historic building - expect high ceilings, many stairs inside the hotel, some original features - traditional wooden window shutters for example. All is very charming and squeaky clean.

There were no amenities in the room for making some tea or a coffee and the toiletries provided were modest - two shampoos and small soap. However, for a one-night stay it was ok.

Perfect location among hills and bushes, near Napoleon villa in beautiful area. Great friendly staff Cristiano with team from restaurant and Teresa from reception, they are professional and it was always nice to chat with them as with while team over there cleaners and waitress). The food was great. Very big and clean swimming pool and overall so oryginal style in this hotel, who has a soul.

Very beautiful and particular building in a perfect location to travel around the island. Clean, friendly and efficient staff, nice breakfast, good rooms and a very good value for what one pays, compared to other offers in the Elba island.

it’s a bit far away but if you have your own vehicle then it’s no problem. the wifi unfortunately didn’t reach to where we were staying. the breakfast buffet was good but don’t have a lot to offer for vegetarian/vegan

Staff, we asked for later checkout and it was ok. Could store our bags when venturing for the last day. Lots of options for breakfast and easy with bus just outside the hotel. Clean hotel room and smelled fresh!

Towels, works but can be improved just make them a bit more comfortable.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially IRINA (IRENA) at the reception desk.

No hot hot water or TV on the first day but the hotel fixed these problems quickly.

Mansion, surrounded by impressive trees can be called “rustik”. Beautiful bar. Perfect, large, outside pool; plenty sun chairs and pool towels. Big parking lot. Very friendly staff.

Breakfast to be improved.

Management gave me an upgrade to a room where the shower was working properly 🙃

I tried to have a shower and the water was literally boiling…..the cold water was not working

- the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful - the location is good for daily trips by car around the island - the hotel is localised next to the Napoleone villa - free parking for cars

- car / taxi is needed to get comfortable to the hotel or restaurants in the evening - the beach chairs and the umbrella for two persons costs 30 to 40€ a day - the towels are changed daily without a need (rules for new towels are not followed) - the furniture in the bathroom is not probably fixed - the WiFi only works in the common areas not in the room that we had - the breakfast ist okay, but boring after one week - the dinner is only possible as menu and not a l a card (menu ~ 35€ p.p)
