The location of the hotel is perfect! At first, we weren't sure becuz the hotel faces a fairly busy road. But once you enter the hotel, you don't even know the road is there. Access to the city center is thru a back entrance & then you are literally a 5-7 min walk to the central palazzo of Ragusa . . . beautiful Cathedral, restaurants, shopping, nightlife, etc. Sitting out on the beautiful terrace that faces the mountains in the morning, while you enjoy an AMAZING breakfast, was a highlight of the trip!! The staff was AWESOME & very accommodating!!

Really nothing! We will definitely be returning to Ragusa & the San Giorgio in the future!!

The location is amazing, and very creative the way it has been incorporated into that part of the hill in this beautiful city. One comes out of an elevator to the city center! Rooms comfortable and modern. Staff very kind and knowledgeable about the history of the place and the restoration.

Because of the way it was built, it’s a bit difficult to find at first, specially if you are driving. That said, the staff provides all the info to get there!

Wow. Everything was great. This is a very unusual location, but perfect. The room was simple but very nice. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the breakfast area is really nice. I'm really happy we decided to stay here. It is difficult to describe the location, but it was really cool. It is built into the hillside. Let me explain something: You definitely want to stay in Ragusa Ibla. This is the lower part. But that is confusing because it is on a hill. The newer part, Ragusa Superiore is also on a hill. It is just a higher hill.

I can almost always find something I didn't like. But, I can't think of anything. Maybe that we had to park on the road.

The single room availability with the comfort of a double room in a classy hotel.

Bathroom was unbelievably badly layed out for that size room and that level hotel. I cut my leg with the masonry in the angular path between toilet and shower, which was barely medium size. When disclosed to desk, it merely apologized for inconvenience and said would be reported for fixing. Stated management knows about it. The temporary fixing never happened while I was there, and I hit and scraped my leg twice after the first cut as it is an unexpected dangerous angle in a tiny bathroom.

beautiful location and close to all main attractions. breakfast was very good. staff was very friendly and accommodating.

we were there in December and room was extremely warm. there is no way to drive your car to the lobby so you need to walk your luggage up a very steep hill. also, the hotel should mention that when using a gps, do not use the name of the hotel because it will bring you up an extremely narrow alleyway and you could be in a position where you get stuck. enter the address of the hotel instead.

The hotel is located in the centre of the old town within walking distance of main attractions and good restaurants. Rooms are very comfortable, we stayed in junior suite witch has a private entrance from the patio. Very large room, massive bed and bathroom. Really private and quiet with gorgeous views over the gorge. Breakfast is fantastic. From savoury to sweet, all fresh and very tasty. Really great stay and staff made it special as they looked after us really well. Gracie!

There was a landslide a few days before we arrived and the GPS directional road was closed. We parked in the lot, and called to find out how to get into the hill town. The young man explained what had happened and came to get us. He rode in our car, directing us around the closure and helped us carry the bags into the hotel. Everyone at the hotel was amazing and breakfast was beautifully presented each morning. I will recommend San Giorgio Palace Hotel to anyone going to Ragusa...and AMAZING beautiful city!

The pillows weren't up to our American standards, and we should have "asked" for another type. That's on us!

Very friendly and helpful staff. This is a beautiful hotel that is immaculate. Terraces are very pretty and simply set out.. Breakfast was very good with wide choices. I would return here if I was in Ragusa especially as it is well located. A lovely breakfast room with scenic views. It lifted my spirits.

Electrics were a bit unusual in our room. We could not find a switch to turn off the bathroom light. Lots of false switches presumably for decorative purposes. A few charging points beside bed would be useful. In fairness these are petty issues. The Hotel is great.

Beautiful room, clean. Great location for Ragusa Ibla. Good breakfast. Able to get street parking - free. Pleasant staff.

We had the unfortunate timing to get little to no air conditioning when it was over 100 Fahrenheit (40 Celsius). They could not resolve during our stay. It was miserable from that perspective, we lived with a fan. I’d give it a 10 otherwise, assuming this was a 1-off. If not, I’d lower it. That said, Eric the manager made it right. This was a nice place otherwise.

Simply fantastic, best location with free parking lot outside ZTL zone. Entering the lift at the ground floor to reach upper side/right in the center by their lift! ALL staffs were extreamly friendly and helpful with all the questions. Very clean. Breakfast area on the terrace was breathtaking. We will definitely come back. Thank you for everything!
