The property was a stones throw away from the Port. It was easy to find which was great after we had to get out of Sicily due to wildfires. The property is funky, clean and a 10 minute walk from the Archeological Museum (Raices Bronzes are a must see) and the main shopping street. Breakfast had muesli, coffee, fruit and yogurt which was perfect for us. plenty of other food like pastries, eggs and bacon if you wanted that. The Hotel rooms were beautiful. Comfortable beds (a double and two singles - ideal for a family), air conditioning which was a relief from the summer temperatures and a fantastic bathroom. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The street area outside the property needs a little TLC but that is a council issue and not the hotels.

Hotel next to the Blue Jet ferry terminal and 2 minute walk so easy to get to. 10 minute walk to the train station and the start of the main town. Rooms nice and clean & bathroom up to date - its a fairly new purpose built hotel.

Area around lacking with any shops/restaurants although there is one on the hotel which we did not try. We were sat in the bar area with friends and started to play Italian cards - the looks we got from the staff were certainly old school Calabria and were then told it was illegal to play cards of any sort in a public area. I laugh about it now but made to feel very ashamed at the time as was totally unaware !

Absolutely loved this hotel! We were greeted by very friendly reception staff and enjoyed a lovely conversation at breakfast with the staff members who waited on us hand and foot. The staff are all very competent in speaking English and provide all the support you need without question. The hotel has a beautiful view and is a very close walk to the ferry dock where you can very comfortably walk (even with large luggage) to catch a ferry to and from Sicily. We felt like the staff were an extension of our own family. The room was very well kept, clean and secure.

We chose the suit and we like how big the room is, the view and the terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is about 10- 15 min from the centre and shops and is next to the speed boat to Messina.

The breakfast ended at 9:30 which was quite yearly for us, since we were on vacation. However, the staff provided each food that was finished even in 9:20 for which we are really thankful.

Location was excellent. We arrived via train and was only about an 8 minute walk to the hotel on wide tree lined sidewalks. Had a ferry to catch the next morning at 8:45 and was less than 2 short blocks to the ferry terminal. Breakfast was served at 7 am so had plenty of time to have a nice breakfast. Check in was quick and easy. Would stay here again when traveling by train or ferry.

Everything was as expected

Great location. Walking distance to the beach, train, city centre, restaurants, etc. Helpful staff on recommending things to do, how to get around and discounts on cab rides ( but highly suggest taking the train it’s very easy to navigate and cheap). Amazing shower too!

The pillows were very thin but when we asked they happily offered us a second set of pillows to layer.

Absolutely perfect. The cleanliness, the standard of the room and the extensive breakfast buffet were all fantastic; whatever your breakfast choice, I defy you to name something that wasn’t available and it was all so beautifully presented. Best of all, however, was the staff - professional but with just the right degree of friendliness … they were really the icing on the cake and make this hotel stand head and shoulders above all others.

The location is great, but the street where it is was a bit run down.

Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choices. The wait staff were very helpful and attentive. Room was on the 5th floor with a lovely view of the ocean (as per picture on booking.com). Room was spacious and clean. Close to the ferry with the main shopping street about a 10 to 15 minute walk away.

I thought that the breakfast was yummy and it tasted great. The rooms were clean and it was a very easy walk to the ferry terminal.

The location could be cleaner and signage of Hotel could be bigger to make it easier to locate

The staff was very kind and welcoming, the room was very small but clean and cozy. Location was good very close to the city center.

The noise from the corridors, people walking, talking it was quite annoying.
