This hotel is all about the pool which is fabulous! There's a nice pool bar offering drinks and food at certain times of the day. The rooms are clean and beautifully appointed. All internal areas of the hotel are clean and nicely maintained and it has a luxurious feel to it. The hotel is close enough to get a taxi into the centre of Rome (about 15-20 Euros depending on traffic). We had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant, where the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The outside of the hotel is looking quite run down, and the service was very slow at times (and not particularly friendly). Check in took about 1/2 hour and it sometimes took about the same to get served at the pool bar. At the weekend, the hotel allows local residents to pay to use the facilities, which meant that there weren't enough loungers and parasols for everyone at the pool, but the lifeguards worked hard to try to accommodate everyone as best as they could - moving loungers under palm trees etc.

Swimming pool is lovely and the lobby is massive lots of nice comfortable sofa set with little shop inside and friendly staff specially Kiera:) our room is on 8th floor looks new to me and it’s clean. Staff in the dining room or restaurant are grumpy perhaps they sleep in the wrong side of the bed 🤪

Far away from the public transportation like 20-30 mins away if u walk to Cornelia where u can find lots of shop restaurants etc. the staff in the reception to slow to accommodate the guests. Staff in the restaurant or dining room some of them are grumpy. Breakfast is not that brilliant no toaster for the loaf no bake beans lol for my English breakfast 😂 no butter. Bar is too expensive for 2 large plastic cup of peroni not even a pint for €16 😂

I stayed here as an individual and as part of a group tour, so I can tell you there is a big difference in room size and quality if you go as an individual. Same with the breakfast - if you are part of a tour, the breakfast is left lacking (with watered down juices etc). But you can't fault the service if you are paying to stay here out of your wallet. But it's important to keep in mind the differences when travelling with a tour group.

If you are going in a tour group - the rooms will not be as great, they'll be smaller and not as pristine as the individual bookings. The breakfast also would be lacking in that area. The location makes it a little difficult to get around, you need to book a taxi or go for a decent walk to the metro. The pool more than makes up for these in my opinion.

The room was large and comfortable. The hotel is dated (which I expected when I booked) - carpets were stained - but the hotel was very clean and housekeeping staff were very diligent. The pool was lovely to have as it was very hot (August). The pool attendant staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend the little Asian restaurant at the main road (3 min walk from hotel). I would stay there again... best advice -manage expectations and good value for the price.

Expected - the restaurant staff were just unfriendly. The outside bar / lunch area (which was the only food option on some days) didn't have a very good "non-smoking" area. It became very uncomfortable at times to be blasted by cigarette smoke. The public transportation into Rome (MA6) was brilliant - but the walk was about 1.2 km to get to the stop as the local bus by the hotel only came by every hour on the weekend (and there didn't seem to be an easy schedule to follow). Good exercise ultimately - not an actual complaint. Beds and pillows - really poor. There were no public trash bins and there was a lot of trash (food packaging mostly) all along streets.

The price of the palace is fantastic; I will come back this year! There is free breakfast, a pool, and extremely friendly staff. You can easily meet up with other people at the bar pool.

Room service stops at midnight, and the vending machines only accept coins; please put on the vending machine card system or at least provide cash at the reception for people without money! Also, I went to the city centre on the final weekend of my stay, and I had issues finding a cab back to the hotel. A taxi refused to drop me off at the palace, so I had to return on foot!!

Breakfast was lovely. Hotel good if a little far from anywhere. 20 minute walk to nearest metro to get to rome

Our room was beautiful. Large room with a separate lounge area. But that part was being renovated and very noisy with workmen. After 2 days we asked to move rooms. Our 2nd room was not great, bathroom was dirty as were carpets. Very small room which ended up just as noisy!

The room boasted ample space and featured an open bathroom, offering guests a pleasant and expansive environment. Furthermore, the room showcased a delightful view, adding to the overall appeal. Additionally, the air conditioning system proved to be highly effective, ensuring optimal comfort even in the face of scorching temperatures.

The breakfast was okay, but it would have been nice to have more choices for eggs. Also, the room key had some issues with connecting, which was really inconvenient because I had to keep going to the front desk to get it fixed (four times in total during my stay). On top of that, the location of the accommodation wasn't great for getting to Rome's city center. It took a lot of time and money to get there, with transportation costs adding up to at least 20 euros, maybe even more. And it was really difficult to find a taxi to take us to the city center for dinner. But it terms of quality stay it was top notch in comfort and cleanliness.

The facilities were very nice- the pool was excellent. Our second room was very nice and cleaner. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool. The bar and cafe were clean and the people friendly- excellent service. I ate at the restaurant once - it was very good food and good service. The front desk people were mostly very helpful and kept a sense of humor when having to return almost daily to have my key rekeyed.

Our first room was not very clean- the carpet really needed a good cleaning. The surfaces and bathroom were clean. Only 2 of the 10 conference rooms had acceptable A/C which made for a long 10 days of training. Our second room didn’t have a door separating the shower from the room which was a little awkward when sharing a room with a co-worker but was workable. The WiFi was pretty terrible which made working difficult. It was nonexistent in our room and spotty at best in the lobby.

The hotel was huge the pool was amazing. Rooms were spacious! I would say bad reviews or people saying not 4 star have not travelled out of the country (US) often. I would consider this a four star hotel and definetly reccomend and return. Only doenside was the location. If you are renting a car or with friends to split taxi costs its worth it!!

Not close to Rome city center and local bus transport to City center not convenient. Taxi cost approx $20-50 each way.
