The location was great being only 5-10 minutes easy walk from the Vatican and Ottaviano metro station. The style of the rooms was great being a converted nunnery, it felt really authentic. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and responsive.

Unfortunately, there was a hot water fault whilst we were there which meant cold showers but the host was working hard to get it fixed. The inner door to the accommodation was a little bit of a pain to wrestle with and get it open, but once you get the hang, it's fine. Relatively minor and transient points that detract from what was a fantastic stay.

Some of the reviews just amaze me. If you want to stay in a super quiet neighborhood and have a super extensive buffet breakfast with omelets and scrambled eggs, don´t stay here. BUT! you will miss: -lovely staff, perfect professionals, who are helpful, and kind, but not intrusive at all -excellent location, 2 minutes from the subway, but most of the sights are within walking distance -surprisingly good breakfast for this kind of accommodation, remember, this is not a hotel -exceptional cleanliness, comfy beds, powerful wi-fi (tested by 2 teenagers) -unique atmosphere, the building is very old with a magical small inner garden and when the church bells start... OMG -reliable and professional private transfer from/to the airport, if you book directly with them, totally recommend Stefano and Lucrezia, you are doing fantastic work, thanks a lot for a lovely holiday and a very nice goodbye.

Steffano was super nice, very helpful all the time. Room was big and clean, same for the bathroom. Location was perfect, very near to Vatican and good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great too, with everything you need.

Everything was great. The elevator was a bit small (we were travelling with a stroller), but it goes with the type of building in this city. Great for couples with luggage.

Easy 5 stars for this very nice facility. The room was very clean with everything one should need. Breakfast was fair given that there is no buffet, but what is offered is more than enough. Stefano and his mother are very kind and polite and always helpful. We will visit again one day!

It is a bit confusing to find the entrance, so make sure you look carefully for the doorbell.

The location is excellent, very close to a metro station and public transportation, and many things to do around. The owner was very nice, and we felt very comfortable there. Also, we expected the room to be tiny but it was quite spacious. I would definitely recommend staying in this place

The only one thing that was a bit inconvenient was the water pressure and temperature in the shower. We're used to warmer water... Breakfast was nothing special as well even though the reviews said it was great

The breakfast was great and the cappuccinos we had were the best ones we’ve had in Italy so far! We also felt very safe, the doors were very secure and it was in a good area!

It might have been helpful to have a demo for the key to the B&B because we spent about 15 minutes trying to get back in

The property is located with 5 mins walk to Vatican Museum and Basilica San Pietro. The rooms are very spacious with tall ceilings, full of character. The property is very clean and have all the facilities available. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay!

Breakfast was very good, it had everything you need. Host was very helpful and kind. Room was very spacious, clean, big window in the bathroom. Very close to Vatican and metro station. I would come to Polinari next time when I would be coming with my kids.

Location and the space of the room.

Pillows very flat. And the automatic light in the bathroom. Stayed on for a little while and if you closed the bathroom door the room would be hot as the AC vent was also in there.

The location is really superb, close to Metro and St. Peter square. It is a quiet place and the bedroom as well as the bathroom was good proper spacious en well maintained.
