The hotel is conveniently located on your way from the airport as you enter the city into the less touristy but stunning modernist neighborhood of EUR. The area is rich with museums, attraction and during summer, music festivals and events. Also there is a amusement park close by. During my stay I decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. The wine and meat were top level ( I've got saltimbocca meat balls) as you would think in any high level restaurants in Italy. Next day I had the breakfast close to the swimming pool. It was rich and tasty. The buffet spanned from the standard continental courses to local variety of pastry and seasonal fruits. The large swimming pool is just the cherry on the cake to bear the Rome summer heat.

Nothing really, considering this is a just renewed historical hotel. I would increase shuttle services to the area around, and perhaps provide for guided tours the the less touristy impressive landmarks around such as the Square Colosseum

Hotel is just off a motorway and difficult to get to. Recommend Taxi only. Pool has very deep area so be careful with children. Staff at reception desk and in Restaurant very laid back eg. 4 persons trying to sort out 1 customer while a queue with new arrivals. Restaurant staff forgetting our dessert order and also food didn’t all arrive together especially at night. Spa pool/rooms was extra €25 each for residents Still haven’t received my email receipt from the hotel 4 days later

The staff at the hotel are so attentive and amazing, Stephanie at breakfast provided the most upbeat and warm welcome each morning the perfect way to start each day. The food in the restaurant was an outstanding quality, can definitely recommend the pizza which was outstanding for cost-of-value and quality. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and finished to a really high standard.

Unfortunately the spa wasn't yet open but this would have made the stay even better

My girlfriend and I stayed at Cardo Roma for a short break and I should say we really loved it. Everything from check in to check out was top notch. Wonderful location a short distance from a chaotic city center, amazing staff who went above and beyond. Superb dinner at the restaurant Vertisi, we got the best ever carbonara and their signature aperitive was just stunning. Strongly recommend. A weekend in July already booked :-)

not the hotel's fault but was surprised that breakfast not included - this is booking . com issue could not find it initially when on foot - the Apple Maps put it on the side of the road by the sports ground - it is very well hidden by the road bridges.

room was excellent, the swimming pool was wonderful, but need to make marking of the deeps, reception services was outstanding

location is not very good, no public transport, always must call tax and very expensive

Friendly staff, external smoking room, external pool, nespresso machine in the room, beds

quality of coffee capsules provided in the room, charging €25 for internal swimming pool extra to expensive room rates is a joke.

It was modern and new. Great beds and the restaurant had excellent food. Staff went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

It wasn’t close to downtown

Beautiful hotel with great pool. My family and I also enjoyed the food, pasta and pizza was superb. They also made the effort to give us an interconnected room so we could be close to my daughter.

Pool and restaurant was excellent. Redesine of the hotel came out really nice . Nice touch with the welcome water .

No changing stations for babies in the common area.
