Exceptional staff, beautiful building and surrounding garden, lake views, incredible breakfast, amazing dinner, lovely pool, music in main areas, antique furniture, overall ambience. All second to none. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful or charming. We had dinner on the terrace and it was fantastic. The taster menu was excellent ( for those who like fish!) . Restaurant staff were very professional and friendly.

I didn't sleep too well due to a hard mattress and pillows. There is some road noise.but we would return despite this. One of our favourite hotels!

Hotel was magnificent, full of character and charm. Beautiful art nouveau decor throughout. Loved breakfast in terrace enhanced with classical music! Staff were absolutely amazing and so very helpful. Nothing was a problem. Loved the daily surprises left in room such as fresh flowers, messages and a bookmark too! Staff celebrated my daughters birthday by a cake and card at breakfast! Room was impeccably cleaned daily and fresh towels twice a day! Pool was lovely and plenty of sun beds and towels! Loved the ice towels brought to you when relaxing by pool. It was such a special and magnificent holiday.

Loved everything about it! When in the garden could hear traffic go past due to being close to road. However, I imagine hotel long there before increase in traffic!

Beautiful hotel with lots of character, one of the best in Salo! There are some nice cosy sitting areas, both inside and outside. Breakfast was served on the terrace with stunning views of the lake. Plenty of fruits, yogurt, cheese, bread and cold meats. Eggs can be made to order. Staff are very nice, polite and helpful.

For breakfast I would have preferred a little more choice of hot food, like vegetables or beans etc. Also a little disappointed to have one small bottle of water in the room. I know we can buy more, but most hotels have 2 complimentary bottles of water as standard.

One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Wonderful old world charm with incredible service from friendly welcoming staff, The property is perfect in so many ways and the food was always amazing! Special mention to the incredible staff with Julia and Laura especially going out of their way to exceed expectations and make us feel so special every time we interacted with them. We will be back for sure!!!

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon 30 years ago and it was very nice. It is even nicer than it was 30 years ago. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and responsive to our questions and requests. The grounds, rooms, and common areas were immaculate. The food and service in the restaurant was terrific. The hotel lives up to and exceeds its 4-star rating. We hope to come back to this hotel again.

It would help if there was more drawer storage such as a single dresser or two night stands with drawers in the room. It was hard to store clothing that was not on hangars.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful, historic hotel in Lake Guarda. The service was impeccable; everyone who worked there struck the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. We loved the food at the restaurant, and the dining room was magnificent with its high ceilings and frescoes. The lovely pool with charming gardens is a beautiful place to spend the afternoon enjoying a prosecco overlooking the Lake. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops.

There’s a road in front of the property, and it was a bit if a walk to get to the beach area to swim.

Top! Excellent hotel, fantastic staff. Everything was perfect! The hotel deserves to be a 5***** property. Even in 5-star hotels we have never met such a fantastic service and staff.

Friendly, efficient staff. Very clean. A beautiful building which has been well looked after and is a prize asset for the owners and guests alike. We loved it. We will return.

Nothing that stood out as below par. I'm sure if you looked you could find something, but we had no complaints about anything during our stay.

As soon as we arrived, someone came to greet us and soon after we were upgraded to a better room with parcial views of the lake. Very good breakfast at the restaurant balcony overlooking the lake. Excellent dinner and service. All personal very cordial and happy. Facilities very clean and attention to details. Free parking at the hotel.

The historical villa has been very meticulously renovated to keep its historical treasures but having all the newest electrical technologies. Rooms and furniture are lovely and one can see the quality of the rooms/bathrooms renovations as well as furniture. Loved the frescoes on the ceilings, the well kept garden with swimming pool and outside seating + lounging areas. The Dining experience was well worth it with with local ingredients with fabulous creations. A pleasure for the eyes and palate. Very friendly and helpful employees. We will definitely stay there again.
