Lucia was charming and attentive, always ensuring our stay was special with thoughtful details, including a welcome drink. The daily delivery of croissants and pastizzotti was a delightful touch that made us feel pampered. The apartment is located in a charming, festively decorated street, perfect for the holiday season. Restaurants, bars, and shops were all open and within easy reach, and parking nearby was always convenient. A truly enjoyable experience!

The morning delivery of cappuccinos and pastries was a charming ritual. But as much as we love Italian coffee culture, cappuccinos are a bit too much milk for us. We politely asked if they could swap it for a café macchiato, thinking we were doing them a favor with less milk to steam. Sadly, our message was left on seen, and the cappuccinos kept coming. Maybe our macchiato dreams were too ambitious? No hard feelings, though! We just hope future guests can crack the coffee code. Overall, a delightful stay with plenty of laughs over our cappuccino dilemma.

The host, Lucia, was very nice and helpful. She made sure we enjoyed our stay and reacted to any caveats we reported (she even bought a new highchair for our baby when we said the current was a bit worn!). The apartment was beautiful and the hot bathtub very relaxing. Every morning we received fresh coffee and pastries.

It was a bit challenging to prepare food in the kitchen due to its size (sink was small) and some equipment missing (e.g. cutting board). The limestone walls inside were charming, but attracted little warms which we needed to get used to.

The apartments were gorgeous. It was extremely spacious, with a lovely little private courtyard for breakfast. It was close to facilities such as small shops. restaurants and pizza places. Highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday. Lucia and her helpers were absolutely lovely . Nothing was too much bother for them.

Parking can be a little difficult. Finding the apartment is not easy, but it is near a large church, from there it is easy! The church bells don't go on all evening and were a surprise, but weren't really an issue. They shouldn't put anyone off from visiting.

The room i originally booked was available but we were also shown an option (same price) for a room that had an enclosed private terrace. We chose to go with the terrace room and it was wonderful. We were able to sit in a fully enclosed area with a bottle or 2 of wine and just relax. Breakfast was brought to our door both mornings. Also, when we had an issue finding parking one of the locals had us follow him and he brought us right to a free parking area. It was much appreciated

The accomodations were perfect however the area is a little quiet between 2 - 6 and options for dining out were limited and not avail until 8 pm but that is the Italian way which as Canadians we were not used to

It is just amazing! Interior of the accommodation is very beautifully arranged, with authentic interior, restored monastery. Super clean. We were in Venere apartment where we had our own kitchen, dining room, bathroom, huge bedroom, private terrace and balcony. The air conditioning is working perfectly, although outside was very hot - we enjoyed great temperatures inside. Breakfast is tasty - Italian style: croissant and local pastries. But you can also bring your own since they have a kitchen, if you prefer something else too. So I would recommend this B&B with all of my heart. Also the staff was friendly and always willing to help us. <3 :)

The only - could be, are at least for someone the bells in the church nearby, if you prefer strict silence in the mornings. But they did not bother us at all, we slept just great. :)

The apartment we stayed was in a 16th century monastery, was spacious, had great facilities and was overall beautiful. The property manager Lucia was lovely and we were brought fresh pastries every morning at 8am.

The apartment is next to an old church, which was really beautiful. That also means that church bells are rung in the morning after 7:30am and can wake you up, especially for late sleepers like myself!

The breakfast lovely, substantial and beautifully presented everyday. The apartment was beautiful with all the amenities and facilities where well appointed. The garden terrace was attractive and inviting. Location was perfect if you have a car and like to be just on the outer edge of Lecce which was easily accessible. San Cesare Lecce had a very quaint appeal. Coffee at Caffetteria Patarnello who provided the breakfast was one of the best we tried. Lucia is a gem and very helpful.

Wow. This place is absolutely stunning. A noble 16th century house beautifully renovated and turned into a fabulous, comfortable space. We were there for work but it would make a perfect romantic getaway, especially the room with the spa bath. The presentation is excellent, with a very friendly host and a lovely Italian breakfast. Great heating, great WiFi, great hot showers. Lovely location just round the corner from the beautiful piazza. The kind of property where you look back at others you gave a 10 and wish you could call this a 12.

We only stayed a night but had absolutely no problems at all.

Excellent host, very generous and helpful. The room is very well looked after with an outside private sitting area. Air conditioned with fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Location right in the centre of San Cesario di Lecce which is less than 10 minutes drive to the centre of Lecce. Great breakfast at a nearby caffetteria.

Beautiful accommodation in a historic building. The best accommodation we had in our entire Italy trip. Lucia and her team were very friendly and helpful. Everyday they came to clean the appartment and change the towels. Plus, every morning we received Italian pastries for breakfast. Lucia even changed the breakfast on request because it was to sweet for us. She also organized a travel bed and chair for our little baby. The flat is located next to a lively church which is at the heart of the town. San Cesario is a nice authentic little town with a train station that brings you to Lecce several times a day.

The flat is beatiful including the kitchen. But the kitchen equipment could be more comprehensive. E.g. we were missing tea towels and a cutting board. Additionally, the olive oil was nearly finished and there was no vinegar. The flat is not very soundproof. We could hear the neighbour snore (and they certainly our baby cry) and the nearby church bells ring. But this did not disturb us very much.
