Exceptionally friendly hostess and host who provided lots of information and made us a great breakfast of local dishes. We parked for free on the street but there was secure parking available on site if required. Twenty minutes level walking into old town (not especially attractive route ! ), Plenty to see in the old city.

Nothing really although the room's private bathroom was not 'en suite' (dressing gown advised if other guests in residence !)

Ha! In this booking you are not booking just a room, you get EXPERIENCE how italians live. It's like a visit to an old friend. If you want to come-sleep-leave, do not choose this room :) Their wonderful breakfast is worth another post! Just dive into adventure with this crazy (in a good way) couple and they will add italian colors and tastes to your trip! Oh, and I loved the smell of towels!

Location is not the most perfect, but center is at walkable distance and they have a locked yard for your car. Bathroom is outside your room, but not a problem, because its next door to your room and you will be the only using it.

Guisy and Gio, the hosts, run their B&B with enthusiasm and heart, which can be seen and felt at every step. They want to offer their guests not only a pleasant stay, but also a wonderful experience, and they succeed perfectly. The rooms and other areas of the B&B are pleasant and nicely furnished, everything is very clean and tidy. Due to its location, it is a good starting point for exploring the city of Lecce (the old town can be reached on foot in 15 minutes) and the Salento peninsula. The possibility of parking in a private yard is a great added value if you are traveling by car. But of everything we experienced during our stay there, we were most impressed by Guisy and Gio, their openness and helpfulness, their concern for the well-being and satisfaction of their guests, and above all, their culinary skills. With their breakfasts, which are actually rich and varied brunches served in a charming garden/terrace, they will (if you let them) take you on a wonderful and unforgettable culinary journey worthy of a great restaurant. They are not only excellent cooks and hosts, they also know Lecce and its surroundings very well. They helped us with restaurant reservations where we could continue exploring the typical cuisine of the area and helped us organize our trips around Salento with many suggestions and tips. We travel regularly and have a lot of experience renting rooms and apartments, so I dare say that staying with Guisy and Gio was an experience that will be hard to beat.

Giusy and Gio were the most welcoming, hospitable, over-performing! hosts we have ever encountered. So much of their love for Salento came through their travel advice, food advice and education, and amazing kindness to us. For breakfast we let them guide us, and we were blown away!!! They prepared a host of local delicacies with such attention and beauty. We never wanted to leave! Their house was at our disposal, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Giusy may kill me for posting this photo, but we loved them so much!!!

Everything was wonderful. Guisy and Gio are amazing hosts, the room was cozy with a big balcony and private bathroom. And oh my, the breakfast.. this is not just breakfast, its an experiance. They really put their heart and soul in running this b&b. It felt like home and it was a really hard goodbye.

Gio and Giusi were great hosts and they made us feel like we are in our house. Every morning they took care of us by cooking us delicious breakfast in their garden and giving us information about Salento. The breakfast was really tasty (make sure to try Gio's surprises!) and the bedroom and toilet was clean and tidy. The house is beautiful and their pet turtles are really cute! Their tips helped us a lot to better experience Salento, providing excellent recommendations on places to visit, beaches to go and restaurants to eat dinner. They even provided us with umbrellas and yoga mattresses for the beach. Their accomodation is a short walk to Lecce centre storico, and we found it helpful that the accomodation offers private parking. Gio and Giusi, thanks for your hospitality, been a pleasure and hope to see you soon someday!

the love and care for the guest could not have been more evident! these folks love providing an amazing B&B and ensuring their guest are well feed and given expert guidance on where to go, what to do and what to see!

the only negative was random outside noises which are not possible to avoid when traveling in any city. parking can be a little tricky but there is space inside the entry gate provided someone else isn’t there ahead of you.

Staying at Casa de Gio is a good reason by itself to visit Lecce. It was great experience. Giusy and Gio are incredible hosts. Made us feel like at home, gave us some tips for sightseeing, and finally, in the morning, the breakfast- something to remember. As for the other thing – rooms and bathroom were large enough, perfectly clean, there was common space – sitting room, dining table, refrigerator. Free private parking space 20 meters from the house. Location is OK, not very far from the city centre, although it could be not so pleasant 1.5 km walk in the hot day, or returning in the worm humid evening.

What a wonderful stay! Giusy's and Gio's focus on the customer's needs is exceptional. They take care of every single detail to make you stay a lovely experience. The house was clean, comfortable with everything handy to use. They provide you with good tips on restaurants, places to visit not only in Lecce but also for the full region. The breakfast was fresh, home made, super good quality ingredients a gourmet experience!

The rooms and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The couple that are running the place were very kind and they have prepared us a great breakfast in their garden. Served us with fresh garden produce and have made a juice with Aloe Vera from their garden. They have shared with us valuable information about old town Lecce and the Salento region. The house was kids friendly and my daughters have played with their two turtles from their garden. We liked the fact that we could park our car full of lugguage at the property with locked doors. Their response was fast and their English is great.
