Hotel staff greeted us on arrival and were very friendly and helpful, we asked for an additional pillow as there was only one spare in the wardrobe. Hotel was clean throughout and modern. Hotel has a pool which we didn’t use but looked like there were plenty of sun longers available to use. Breakfast was included and had a variety of things to choose from.

The only thing I can put here and it’s been really picky is that when we arrived to our room the bin in the bathroom had a few items in it so wasn’t sure if the cleaners had missed it but it wasn’t anything major. The shower cubicle was small too so wasn’t much room to be able to move in it.

The breakfast was fantastic in a relaxing environment. it had a wide selection which would suit anyone, the quality of the food was exceptionally high and the breakfast staff were friendly and very professional. This has truly been the best breakfast we have had in italy, far better than the 4 star hotels we have stayed in. The beds were clean and comfortable and the room size was decent with opening windows for fresh air, we like fresh air, who doesn't The shower was Powerful and refreshing with good temperature control. The roof top pool area is a wow factor, very clean with plenty of sun beds and terrace. The location is great, a very short walk takes you to the lake and path, it has benches to enjoy a relaxing lakeside view. There is also a Migross supermarket a short walk from the hotel, they sell everything you could need. The hotel has small recycling bins on each floor for plastics, tins,bottles. Great forward thinking and a credit to the hotel. The hotel was clean throughout and all staff were friendly and helpful We would for sure stay at this hotel again.

TV is small, but this makes no difference as all hotels in Italy don't have many English speaking TV channels, if any

Good location, a few meters froms the lake. The breakfast was also fine, different varieties of food, and you could also go outside to the terrace to eat, which I loved. The bed was comfy and the pillows too. I also liked the shower, which had this type of rain head. The drinks at the pool bar were not expensive. At the end of our stay we went to pay for the extras and we noticed that we were charged + 36€ in drinks from the pool bar that were not ours, since you just have to say your room number and do not sign anywhere. The staff solved the problem and we did not have to pay for the drinks that were not ours. Be careful and take a look to your bill at the end. Recommend it!

Myself and my friend really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alfieri. Firstly the staff were amazing from reception, wait staff, cleaners and the pool bar man. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Secondly we loved the rooftop pool area, there was a decent amount of sun loungers, a beautiful clean pool and pool area and what a view <3. The rooms were spotless and fairly modern with ample storage, however our bathroom was small. Hotel Alfieri was in a residential area so it was nice and peaceful and away from the busy tourist area, however there is some restaurants and convenience shops within a 5 min walk. There is also access to a shuttle bus to Sirmione a 10 min walk away which cost €2 or a taxi which was €12.50-15.

Very little. Only that the bathroom in the hotel was a bit small.

Lovely bright and clean property with great roof top pool area and multiple outdoor seating and bar areas. Great buffet breakfast every morning. Very close to the lakeside -2 min walk - and multiple restaurants

We’d have loved a balcony on our room to provide a little outdoor access in reasonably compact space. Some rooms did seem to have this but not ours - probably best to check this when making a booking. But the room was still very comfortable and met our needs.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Gluten-free food options at breakfast. Great selection for breakfast each morning. Went in May but there was always seats at tge pool and a nice pool bar. Rooms were so clean and beds were comfortable. We did not have the correct plug adapters (EU ones didn't work) but staff provided us with some.

Some breakfast food was kept outside the hot plates and was cold which we perfer to eat hot but that's just a preference!

The hotel was in a good location, not too far from Lake Garda and a short bus ride from Sirmione old town. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, as were the rest of the staff. The breakfast was very good, with a selection of hot and cold dishes. The rooftop pool area was pleasant and fairly peaceful with good views of the lake. The gardens and downstairs lounge were very pleasant areas to enjoy a drink or two in.

The foot bath at the pool area was slippery and would benefit from a non-slip mat.

Lovely small hotel, excellent breakfast dining room with lots of breakfast food choice . A very nice bar in the reception area and outside seating too. Extremely friendly and helpful receptionists, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location to the lake ,a 2 minute walk away. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Only minor complaints I have are the rooms are quite small and the bathroom. Beds were quite hard which was uncomfortable.

Everyone of the staff were amazing. always smiling and always willing to assist with any queries. nothing was too much trouble. they provided advice on where to eat. how to book the tours, pointing us to the direction of transport and they had bikes and scooters to hire. The breakfast was all fresh foods with so much variety. we loved the breakfast. We thought the location was great, it was a 40min walk to the castle at Sirmione and 5 mins ti the to the bus stop which takes you into Peschiera and Verona. There are plenty of restaurants and ice cream shops up the hill from the hotel (5-10 min walk.the roof top terrace swimming pool are great. so peaceful and never overcrowded. the bar on the roof and ground floor bar are great for a tipple.

Se had a small room which we selected, it was beautiful and always cleaned well, but we found it hard to dry clothes anywhere particularly after swimming. The bed was a bit hard for me but that’s just preference. One day we weren’t left any toilet roll but just went to reception and got it straight away. it was no problem.

The reception staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the local area. We had to leave very early on the last day so they ensured we had a takeaway breakfast ready for us as we were unable to eat at the usual breakfast time. The room was very clean and it was cleaned and made up every day. The location was fantastic as it is a stones throw from some good restaurants and public transport links, including the shuttle to the Old Town. There is plenty of free on-road parking nearby but they also have a garagefor €10 per night, which would have been useful if we arrived a few days earlier when the hailstones caused a lot of damage to the cars on the street. The rooftop swimming pool and bar was brilliant. Not a big pool but enough to take the edge off the heat of the day. Breakfast was plentiful and had loads of choice. Bar area was welcoming and a lovely place to sit whilst enjoying a drink or two. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely return again.

Although the road is not busy, sometimes the noise of cars going by is audible but not much that can be changed.
