Location was perfect- right in the heart of Sorrento, with shopping and restaurants and even a grocery store right next door. A few blocks from the water and easily accessible to taxi or van pick up. A great parking lot about 1/2 block away which was large and very accessible and reasonable price. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, always with a smile and happy answer questions. The room and dining area were spotless. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of food available. There was a balcony off our room which was spacious and had beautiful fruit trees in view.

We loved the interior design-care was taken in the details on windows and doors to provide a quiet experience in a loud environment. Our room had a lovely balcony with a view of the lemon trees from a favorite restaurant across the way. The gardens and outdoor seating areas were very nice. The staff were very helpful as we were both sick with colds and they let us have trays for breakfast on the balcony, gave us an electric kettle for hot tea in the room and tots of bourbon with honey to soothe our throats. Good location to main drag where the shopping and restaurants were.

The room really was tiny-luggage was a challenge but got everything organized. Lots of steps in and out of property. Not enough luggage help. Taxi's can't drop off or pick up directly at the property for some reason so dragging your luggage from the taxi stand over cobbled streets yourself is not happy time. They do not have water views unfortunately. You must seek those out yourself. The fireplace does not work-they should fix that if they can. It would have made an amazing difference in the breakfast/lobby seating area.

There was nothing not to like about Hotel Mignon: it’s right in the city center, walking distance from the Marina & the train station, with lots of shops and restaurants right around the corner. It’s a very clean & quiet location, very authentic, with very nice helpful staff at the reception, breakfast and cleaning. We had an amazing stay and we will definitely come back.

If I would be really picky i would say that the water pressure in the shower was very low, but it wasn’t such a big problem unless you needed to wash your hair.

The hotel is in a perfect location, on a street just behind the cathedral. The rooms are lovely, and the breakfast room was so inviting, not just the furnishings but with the scent of home baked pies, cakes and pastries! A delicious, full breakfast included scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt , juices and more. But the staff is what made this hotel stand out. They were efficient, kind, and helpful. Carla assisted us with restaurant recommendations and shared local information about the neighborhood and schools of Sorrento. We were able to store our luggage and allowed to use the facilities all day after we checked out, as we were leaving on a late afternoon bus. Courtesies like these are really appreciated when you travel independently. Thanks for a wonderful two night stay!

It was all good.

The hotel was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile and hello. Giovanna and Carla were a huge help with helping to book day trips and made the process so seamless. The rooms were so big and comfy. The location is so ideal, right next to a supermarket and just inside the walls of the old city.

Our room faced the restaurant next door. Other reviews have commented on the sound stopping around 11pm but we found it could go on until midnight. If we had the balcony doors closed and shutter down, we did find it helped to block out 90% of the sound.

Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of cheese, nice bread and cakes. Coffee good too. They even brought me a birthday cake with a candle for my 50th. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Room was lovely and quiet. Perfect location. Near to all the attractions in Sorrento yet far enough away to get a good night's sleep. 10 minute walk from the Circumvesuviana station.

Bed a bit hard but we got used to it after a couple of nights.

Location of the hotel was great, everything was super accessible. The room was small but very comfortable and perfect for what we needed, and breakfast each morning was a treat (loved the staff there)! The hotel staff were great as well, extremely helpful and there was someone at reception at all hours which was very reassuring.

The shower was a little bit small, so easy to bang elbows/limbs in, but we're not too fussy so it was all good. The safe also stopped working and my friend couldn't open it the night before her early departure. However, reception acted quickly to fix it, so it was a complete non-issue and everything was retrieved in time for her journey onwards :)

I cannot tell you what beautiful hotel this is. Beautifully clean, with friendly and welcoming staff. The location in Sorrento cannot be beaten, just yards from the main pedestrianised street, and yet quiet and peaceful. This was our third time in Sorrento, and we have stayed in different places, but we will go back here next time. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The hotel has a very good location, close to restaurants, supermarkets, rental car agencies, etc. It also has a small garden in the back were you can relax after a day long of visiting. The staff is very friendly.

The breakfast is good, above average for a classic italian one, but it could be a bit more diversified across several days (we had the same variety each day, no changes). The rooms are not so well soundproofed, but it isn’t a major issue.

This place was gorgeous! From the moment you walk in you know that this will be a great stay. The interior is decorated beautifully and the staff are so friendly and helpful! The rooms are perfect. There is enough space in them and the beds are comfy. The rooms at night were quiet so we had no problem sleeping. The breakfast was outstanding as well! There was a great variety of homemade delicious cakes everyday. And the coffee was perfect. There was also some savoury things like scrambled eggs, tomato salad, meats, cheeses, bread, cereal etc. So you have a nice selection! The location was the best! It was right in the centre of everything, so all the main things were within 10-15 minute walk of the hotel. The hotel is right beside a grocery store that open till late. It's also surrounded by bars and restaurants. But the hotel is up on a side street so you don't get any of the loudness from the street seeping into the hotel. Again I must say the staff was incredible and had so many good recommendations. Everyone working there was so nice and friendly. You can tell I lot of love is put into running this hotel!
