The hotel was clean and maintained clean by the personal. In front of the hotel is a very good looking garden, well maintained. The room was big enough for a family with two children. The personal was serviceable. They helped us with renting a car, calling a taxi, etc. At the reception you can book a shuttle to Taormina and back to hotel for free in a specified interval of time.

The breakfast was not so great (always the same food and lots of cakes). The hotel hasn't a restaurant open for lunch. There is a buffet with little to chose from. The hotel is not easy accessible on foot. To reach to other restaurants in Leteojani (witch is the closest place to Caparena) one has to go on foot on a very busy road. One also has to pass throw a passage underneath an electric railroad. The beach is a combination of sand and stones. The entrance in the sea is steep and with stones. This means is not to welcoming for children.

Very beautiful garden with a lot of exotic plants and trees. Very nice and responsive staff. The free shuttle to Taormina was a great advantage. The room was being cleaned every day. Although the beach was very rocky , the water was crystal clear. The view from the balcony was very nice.

The Hotel is old - fashioned , needs renovation. The carpets on the hall were very old and weary. The breakfast was same everyday , the sweets were good but not enough kinds of vegetables and cheese. There was no kettle and glasses in the room , which is very inconvenient for such a hotel. These are small details but make an impression.

Beach and pool access with included shuttle service to town. Included umbrella and sun beds at front beach and the pool was great! The breakfast was a fun inclusion also. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great with daily cleaning and towel replacements.

Bar staff were uninterested most of the time. No music by the pool. It is far from the city so just be aware when walking as you can’t walk there (taxi at 20€ each way or shuttle bus which you must book ahead or it books out).

It was a very peaceful, well maintained hotel in beautiful grounds with a private beach area The breakfast offered a great choice buffet style & there were hot choices of boiled & scrambled egg, bacon & frankfurter style sausages The evening meal we booked a few times & the food was excellent, like a masterchef style dinner There was a mini bar in the room which was big enough to store drinks of our own & our suncreams The swimming pool area was well-maintained and at the beach area, the beds were free to use. Towels were €3 to hire per day. However, you could bring your own. Not allowed to use hotel room towels. Food and drinks at the beach bar were very reasonably priced, tasty & the service was excellent. The shuttle bus offered a return service into Tauromina central, the latest collecting you from Tauromina at 10.45pm You can do boat trips & they have a kayaking service from here, weather dependant We booked the Godfather tour & the hop on hop off bus collected us from outside the hotel, saving us having to travel into Tauromina to meet the bus A taxi from Tauromina Gardis Naxos train station to the hotel is €25 & from the centre of Tauromina to the hotel is €20

Would not recommend you walk along the main road outside the hotel as the traffic was very fast & there is no path. This meant we were unable to go for a nice walk after dinner. Instead, we had to take the shuttle bus into town for a walk. Although you could order hot drinks from the hotel bar, there was no kettle in the room, which would have been nice

Everything you need is here, you don’t need to leave. It’s like a cozy resort. Breakfast had lots of choices including vegetarian and gluten free options. The pool was perfect and the beach access has walkway under rail tracks. By the way the train was very quiet. The beach had umbrellas and chairs, bathrooms and cafes/restaurants. There is a free shuttle to the various towns, you don’t need a car or deal with trying to find parking. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. My wife didn’t want to leave.

The only negative was that we had to leave. I could stay here a month and never get bored.

shuttle service to and from taormina was excellent .shame it didnt go to letojanni. beach area and lovely garden areas. , all the staff were really helpfull and friendly. nice clean pool area . rooms and communal areas were kept beautifuly clean.

more info on local transport services, maybe copies of local bus services. timetables stops etc we couldnt work out how to get to letojanni from the hotel by bus, there was a kettle in the room but no cups, spoons. tea bags , coffee or milk sachets, perhaps a small shop at reception selling essentials would be a good idea.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean room with million dollar view. Staff so friendly, always smiling, professional and helpful. Breakfast offering was exceptional. Dinner and bar menu also excellent. Private beach with beautiful ocean to swim. Food & drink menu at beach club excellent. Shuttle bus into town is an excellent service for dining, entertainment and sightseeing. Some local shops about 800metres down the road for all supplies. We absolutely loved our 7 night stay here.

Great location private beach Maria the beach assistant was lovely Hotel was clean and when I asked for a mattress topper and softer pillow was no problem Breakfast was ample and good I ate in restaurant in evening and was disappointed A few more staff would have been good as lobby bar was often not managed Shuttle bus was great with excellent hours of service Would return

I didn’t like the position of the bar in lobby was often busy and noisy I also thought a bit overpriced compared to other stays

I’ve got to say we were delightfully surprised by this hotel. We booked this place as it was nearby to where we booked our wedding. Travelling with my now husband and our nearly 2 year old. From the minute of walking through the doors we saw how truly nice and special this place was. We just booked a standard room, we were located on the ground floor and the room was a lot bigger than we expected. It was nice and peaceful even being so close to reception in room 112. It was clean, comfortable, well air conditioned. Was just what we needed. We had breakfast included in our price which was continental but had scrambled eggs, bacon, range of cheeses and meats including ricotta. Cereals, pasties and cakes all of the above was of a great standard. You could eat inside or out. The staff in the dining room are even better, gianluca, Gianfrano the waiters and the manager fabrizio. And a lovely lady with short dark hair was amazing with our son, They really made us feel welcome and special, they couldn’t do enough for us. So professional and friendly. We also spent an evening in the restaurant which the food was fantastic. Again great service here too! The beautiful garden and surroundings of the hotel are so picturesque. Nice big pool area including a kids pool. We also spent some time down by the beach bar which was relaxing and I have to mention how lovely the ladies down at the reception area of the beach/shop. Giulia and Maria, so lovely, friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was brilliant Adriano made us feel right at home, so friendly, welcoming and looked after our son if we needed milk warming up, no matter what time of day. The shuttle service from this hotel is fantastic, you pre book your shuttle up and down from Taormina. It’s free too! We loved Salvatore! He made us smile, he was lovely, helpful and genuine. We miss him already!! I have to say, the staff here are a real main reason we would want to come stay again.

We chose hotel Caparena for the nice gardens the exclusive beach and distance to Taormina, we had our enlopment nearby and the hotel Caparena was a great addition to the special event, the staff was super nice, friendly and professional, there was a special cleaning lady that i didnt get the name, but she did for us a love towel decoration with flowers as we explained we were tidying the room for additional memories and experience and she was super nice. Thanks for that. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best we had competing with Dominican Republic lavish choices for all tastes. The pool was nice, big and unexpectedly empty, maybe it was to hot, but we enjoyed it. The room we didn't felt it was ideal for families but it was good for us, definitely recommend for couples. Thank you for the stay, it will be part of our memories forever.

A bit expensive but it is common in this time of year and in Taormina.
