Excellent location, dated but very cute hotel, super nice and helpful staff. Very nice beach and comfortable beach beds (which are included in the price) Rooms being cleaned every day

The location was great and the welcoming staff (Ernesto and Mona Lisa special thanks ) was amazing & polite. The staff at the beach was so kind and helpful during the whole day. The breakfast and the dinner were delicious. Very close to the funicular to go up to Taormina.

Actually, there wasn't any specific issue for me to write a negative review about. Apart from the packaged bread with mold that we requested for breakfast before our tour. If I were a customer inclined to create problems and potentially undermine the positive experiences of our otherwise enjoyable holiday, I could have provided very serious feedback here. Most importantly, despite raising the issue twice at different times, there was no positive follow-up or resolution, which is a significant concern. In such instances, it's crucial to reassess customer management and approach strategies. I recommend reconsidering what another customer might express or expect in this matter."

We liked the beautiful coastal location. The indoor seating areas were lovely and outdoor dining terraces overlooking the sea, under a canopy of greenery (ficus) were spectacular. It was nice to have complimentary seating and towels on the beach. We were here late October and able to swim in the wonderfully clear sea.

Although we mostly found the dining room and reception staff very friendly and helpful, a few were a little abrupt. Whilst we noted that the hotel is within easy walking distance of Taormina, it should be noted that this is along a busy road without footpaths. A taxi can be quite expensive for the short distance. Walking along the shoreline is not possible because of rocky outcrops.

I loved the breakfast on the terrace and the proximity to the beach.

The dinner wasn't as nice as it could be. It was mediocre.

Friendly staff, 24-7 concierge service, parking, great location - near Taormina cable car and with private beach The breakfast versatility was quite limited , yet the dining terrace was amazing. We also enjoyed the restaurant evening meals - good quality and moderate pricing We left the hotel before breakfast and got some early food packages prepared specially for us. The wooden furniture and room design patterns date back to early 1970s, but as everything in Italy - it has the style and good vibes

The room was a bit small for 3 people

Fine linen towels in bathroom! Crisp sheets and duvet covers!! Beautiful seaside views. Beach area clean and bluest water to swim in!! Morning breakfast buffet plus delicious home made pastries, cakes and tortes! It has lovely tree covered veranda to sit and enjoy morning cappuccino or expresso! The view for breakfast was beautiful!

Further away from Taormina. Thought we were walking distance but property is nestled in steep mountain path overlooking sea. Taxi necessary to go to and from town.

Location at the sea front is fantastic. Chairs, towels and umbrella’s are included. The atmosphere of the hotel may be a bit dated but that adds charm. Despite it looks a bit old fashioned everything is in good order. Good beds, clean room nice balcony etc. Nice and helpful staff that speaks English. Breakfast was good (much choice). We also dined in the hotel (as it is quite a walk to town on a road without pavement) and this was also good.

Not much. Be prepared that the hotel looks a bit outdated to avoid disappointment. The walk to the cable car to the center of Taormina is about 15 min but goes along a road without pavement (during day time no problem). Not much restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, but the food in the hotel itself is more than acceptable to compensate for that.

The old italian 1960s style was lovely. We loved our room, particularly the large window that opened to a view of the sea. Location was great, with its own private beach.

We stayed in April, which seems to be off season. The hotel was very quiet and felt almost not open (lots of dark empty rooms, felt a bit eery). I can imagine it would be a very different vibe in high season, was just odd to be in an empty hotel! If you’re wanting a place that’s walking distance into Taormina town then this would not be ideal.

The hotel was lovely and traditional in decor and the fact it has its own private beach is a big bonus. The staff are also helpful and accommodating. The view from the balcony was also a massive plus point and it was wonderful to wake up to the sight of the sea every morning from the balcony. Taormina is also only a short journey away, a 15 min walk to a cable car that takes you up to the town.

Unfortunately the food is quite basic and completely unlike the other amazing Italian food we had elsewhere on our trip. Apart from that there is nothing else we could think of.

This is a hotel that is not adequately appreciated. If you want to truly experience the Italian vibe, this is the place to visit. From the building's appearance to the view from the window, everything is better than you might expect. The hotel also offers free parking, which is a great convenience in this area.

Beds pillows are uncomfortable. It must be soft. in the morning it felt like i had not slept at all
