We enjoyed the pool, the lady at reception was lovely and friendly, the breakfast was perfect and the main waiter there brought us fresh coffee with a cheerfulness that was a lovely start to the day. Good that there was a small bar near reception/pool albeit expensive.

Shame you can't use the pool after 7pm. The AC was pretty bad so not a great sleep. We reported the patchy/non-existent WiFi but were disappointed with the outcome...the man lied about it working fine on his phone. We argued a bit to get him to look at the router after which it worked again for about 10mins. We did not bother pursuing matters again. There is a rule saying not to bring food into or take out of the hotel because of covid. Complete rubbish. That's not how covid spreads.

Peaceful hotel with great staff. Good breakfast choices. Pool was great and drinks were available. Well located for station. There was a bus stop for travel into Taormina Town. There is also a path at the back of the hotel but this requires good shoes and is quite steep in places. We were fine despite being in out late sixties! Takes about 20 minutes but gets you right into the centre. Coming down in the dark a bit trickier but torch on phone helped.

Did not replace water that was provided in room on first day. But we didn't ask... Water is quite cheap to buy!

Location is good - 10 min drive to Taormina parking, or bus station in front of the hotel (200m). Behind a hotel is a hiking path (20-30 min up to Taormina centre). The hotel is directly in the valley under the main piazza. We went up by car in the evening and we hiked in the morning for a cup of coffee on the piazza. Room had very nice sea view with the balcony. Breakfast is very good, options of fresh fruits, pastry and the rest of the classic. Staff is very helpful and nice, pool is gorgeous, after walking up and down on the hiking path a good refreshment.

There is a road and railroad in front of the hotel so it gets noisy. I use earplugs, so this doesn't bother me that much. But for a longer stay it might. Pillows are kind of hard, but were replaced on the request immediately.

Hotel Corello was very comfortable. Location was quiet as it wasn’t in the town but the bus was just at the bottom of the hill so easy to asses both towns. The pool was really nice and we had a brilliant view of the ocean. The breakfast which was included in the price was really nice with plenty of variety and the breakfast room had a magnificent view of the ocean.

The property has a strict rule of not bringing food or drink from outside sources but when there are no food outlets locally it means you have to get to one of the towns to eat . Maybe you should bd allowed to maybe bring in snacks . Aldo would of loved a kettle yo have a cuppa at night but all in all really loved staying there.

Every single member of staff were so accommodating and friendly. When we arrived they upgraded our room to a sea view room for free. There is someone at the desk 24/7 and happy to help at all times. The hotel is set just off the beach, a short walk to Naxos and a bit of a climb up to Taormina Central, however, there are regular buses take you up to centre or other destinations e.g. Isola Bella. We got the train from Catanya to Taormina Giardini in about 40 minutes and then it was a very easy 5 minute walk to the hotel. The room had a lovely balcony with a great view and the room was cleaned every day. We had a lovely stay at hotel Corallo and will definitely return in the future.

The AC in the room wasn’t very cold, we woke up very hot in the night every night and the temperature dial didn’t seem to make a difference. But everything else was perfect!

The staff were great, room very clean and tidy, older style but fitting with being in Sicily. The pool was fabulous and staff cleaned every day and changed room daily. The 24hr bar was great staff very friendly!

It's a little misleading being so far from the cable car.. you must rely on buses or taxis (20€) up into Taormina or bus along to Giardini Naxos. There are no local shops and no restaurant at the hotel for lunch or dinner but this was ok overall as I ate out

Couldn’t really give this place all 5 stars because the AC didn’t really work too well and the room was tiny, BUT it was clean, beds were good and the pool area was lovely. If you’re looking for cheap and cheerful, this might be the place.

Getting up to town was easy until the bus that runs up there is full and blows by you and you’re standing there with 6 people going “Whuh???” We never did figure out how to get home on the bus - a complete mystery. Taxis can be called to take you back but BEWARE NOT TO TRY TO ADD PEOPLE TO THE TAXI FOR RETURN. Horrible man named FRANCO charged us $40 to go about 2 miles with 4 people all staying on the same street at two different spots. CORALLO staff did not really have good explanation for this concept. I speak Italian and ended up in a screaming match with darling Franco. Thought he was gonna punch me. Ugh. Worst Italian Taxi driver moment for me in 40 years and I’ve had some doozies.

Breakfast was good, although as a single person I seemed invisible to the waiter and had to find him for a coffee instead of him finding me! I had a sea bay view. Near local bus stops and the steep hill climb to the town centre high above the hotel. Easy to get to airport on the bus from hotel. Receptionist was very helpful lady. The swimming pool was decent size - able to do some lengths; it would have been better if open before - 9am though.

Noisy air conditioning, so had to switch off at night and then got very hot. Adjacent room balcony was right outside my bathroom, so not very private.

Marco and his brother and Pedro the dog, were exceptionally welcoming and informative. This hotel so exceptionally clean and has just the right amount of facilities for a break away. Pool, drinks and nice sunbeds Brigette who works at night is really friendly also. Rooms very clean. This hotel is near a bus stop and there is parking just past the hotel.

Not a hotel issue... Buses very busy, getting up to taormina is a chore. Advice is to precook bus tickets from the station in taormina for return journey Avoid going up to taormina centre at peak times (6-8) heavy traffic and only one road in and out

Our room had a fantastic view of the coastline and we could park easily on the street outside. The staff were attentive and helpful and the breakfast buffet offered a good choice. Nice pool too!

The bed was too hard for me and was causing hip/lower back pain after first night (we stayed 4 nights). They offered me a bedspread which I folded and placed under the sheet which helped a bit. I think having some mattress toppers available would be a good idea for those who prefer some give in a mattress. It is not obvious from photos that there is a Trainline on the coastline - not a noise issue but not as picturesque as had hoped.
