The staff were absolutely excellent - between Klaudia, Nino and Martina, we were made to feel like the only guests there from the minute that we arrived and all the way through our stay. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, and the location is absolutely ideal; it's less than a minute's walk to the duomo and main street, and yet when you're in your room you'd think you were a mile away it's so quiet. In my view, Hotel Villa Taormina is second only to the Four Seasons if you're looking for a hotel in Taormina, but for the price I'd choose Hotel Villa Taormina every time. Looking forward to staying there again.

There's nothing I could fault from our trip to be honest. Our bathroom was out of hair conditioner when we arrived, but as soon as we reported that back to hotel staff they sorted it out straight away.

Everything went exceedingly well for my family of seven from the moment we arrived and were so graciously welcomed like family, until we departed with hugs. The location couldn’t be more convenient, the lovely breakfast buffet on the terrace overlooking the sea was the perfect way to start the day. The wait staff were so fun and made us endless cappuccinos. At the end of the day the convenient little bar on the upper terrace was the perfect meeting place for a cocktail before dinner and again, the bartender was excellent. My deep appreciation to Paulo, Nino, Claudia and ALL the staff for being a part of our special family memory. Grazie!!

I can‘t think of anything that was lacking or needed to be improved.

Perfect location for everything Taormina has to offer yet set back and quiet with beautiful views of Mount Etna and the coastline. Staff were exceptional and always on hand for any request. Modern but furnished with many pieces of classic antique furniture. Fantastic views from the breakfast room, plenty of different food to choose from and perfect omelettes on request. We loved the secret garden, relaxing bar and terrace with jacuzzi which was very private and peaceful, a great place to end a busy day exploring Taormina.

There was nothing I didn’t like about this property.

From the first moment upon arrival we felt we were most valued and appreciated guests at Hotel Villa Taormina. Our welcome was beautifully warm and welcoming. As we looked around with our glass of Prosecco in hand, seated in the stylish lap of luxury of the salon, we were quite overwhelmed by the drop-dead gorgeousness of the accommodation. After our initial stroll to familiarise ourselves with the location, the very next thing we did was to see how much longer we could extend our stay by. Unfortunately only one extra night was available but that gave us four nights to sample the many of the delights of the area. Ideally we would have moved in permanently!

There is nothing at all to dislike!

Location was fabulous, the breakfast and the view from there was stunning, the room was so comfortable & the property was lovely. But what set this hotel apart from others was the staff and the service they provided to us. From being met at the gates by the manager, who proceeded to give us a detailed tour & information about the property, to the ever helpful Nino & Klaudia at the desk and Carlos on the terrace - everyone attended to our every need and made this holiday so memorable for us all.

Gorgeous little boutique hotel in an old renovated villa, with very comfortable, luxurious rooms and modern bathrooms. Rooms are decorated with lovely, individual touches, and there are good quality toiletries provided. The bed was very comfortable, with big, soft pillows. Breakfast was served upstairs with a view over the town and towards Mount Etna, with everything freshly prepared. What really made it such a perfect stay through was the friendliness of the staff, who were wonderful and friendly throughout.

Nothing could have been improved on.

Staying at Villa Taormina was like being with family and good friends. It is a small hotel and very well run. The breakfast is delicious and is on a beautiful terrace with the view of Aetna. Throughout the hotel you see nice art, but it feels like you got invited into someone’s home. . The location is excellent. Close to walk anywhere. The two dinner recommendations we received from the hotel were both wonderful. They care about their guests being happy and comfortable. We can highly recommend staying there.

The room itself was nice. The floor is tiled and therefore in April not the warmest to walk on. I do understand though that it will be nice in the heat of the summer. We had a “room with a view” but we had to get out on the small terrace and climb up a three steps in order to look out to see anything.

Luxurious setting, comfortable bed, beautiful garden and terrace with view of Mt Etna and the ocean. Valet parking - very important in Taormina!! Great location just off the Main Street of Taormina! But the absolute best part was the staff - especially Nino and Paulo - who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable! Greeted me with a glass of Prosecco, arranged wonderful dinner reservations, helped me plan my day trip to Etna (with advice on snow chains!) and arranged a vineyard lunch for me. Even more amazing was their assistance when I had hire car trouble!! Helped me troubleshoot and contact the hire car company - above and beyond! Thank you

Nothing not to like

Location was perfect. Breakfast with a fabulous view was the best way to start each day! Staff was amazingly helpful and professional. Place was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and quiet sleep.

The decor was very well done, but not my style, a little over the top for me.. My sister LOVED it. All in the eye of the beholder. Check out the photos and make sure it's what you like. Air freshener was so strong, we had to set ours outside the room. Again, my sister LOVED it, so it's personal taste. We were in a room without a legit window, but they put in great effort to create a walk up balcony, from which we could see Mount Etna!!

we loved this hotel- starting at our welcome, to the location, they knew we were arriving early and they had our room ready way before expected. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We loved chatting with staff and Paolo in particular was a pleasure. he helped to make our experience not feel like a tourist rather chat with us about Sicilian life. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to any friends visiting the area. oh and we’ve stayed at high end places in Italy and their bed was the best one we’ve slept in this whole trip.
