Loved Hotel Monte44 for many reasons. It is quiet, close to everything and with easy access to skiing in several parts of the Gardena complex. The whole hotel was recently updated and is under the amazing care of Monika, who singularly makes the place special. She is totally helpful and always willing to help guests get what they need for a pleasant stay.

I thought there would be a pool in addition to the sauna/steam bath - that would be a nice addition. Bus logistics are not the easiest, so you have to learn how to use the system - Monika helped us so we could maximize the benefit of the public transport.

Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of town for any requirements. Very clean throughout whole premises. Good sized room with comfortable bed & very warm. Bar/restaurant provided good meals & our host was excellent - always smiling & friendly, providing excellent service. Extremely happy with our stay here & after spending 2 nights in Cortina D'Ampezzo, thought that this hotel & the city itself were far better as a location on the Dolomites

Super clean hotel. Easy 5 minute walk to various shops and restaurants. Across the street from some walking trails. The view from everywhere is overwhelmingly amazing. The breakfast had a large amount of options and all were high quality. Helpful and friendly staff. We didn’t use the hot tub and sauna area but did check them out and they are super clean and nice looking.

The internet connection was a little spotty - but to be fair we were in the room furthest away from the router. If you’re just streaming videos/surfing, it’ll be fine.

Our host Monika was so gracious and always helpful. Every morning’s breakfast was beautiful and delicious. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The robes were luxurious. Views from the balcony were amazing. Everything was wonderful

Very clean, well maintained, recently renovated ski lodge. Great view of the surroundings. Monica makes all the breakfast pastries and jams herself and is very knowledgeable about the area. An exceptional host!

Nothing - everything was perfect for our stay

The view from the room was outstanding, everything was clean and comfortable, and Monika was super helpful and welcoming. It is an easy walk to a great restaurant near the hotel. We would return there next time we are in Val Gardena!

Great location , peaceful and quiet , bus station near by, free parking in front of the hotel. Wonderful customer service provided by our host Monica . She is doing great looking after everyone and everything , made us feel at home . Rooms are very clean and cozy , spa area is awesome, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended !

Everything was great at this place, from the welcoming check-in, to the facilities at the hotel (welness area), to the home-made breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect to organize any hike in the area and the owner gave us lots of information, hint and really made the extra effort for our trip to be the best experience ever!

The room was big enough, new, and the breakfast was great. The hotel was exceptional in a great location and with a very useful after a long day, spa area. But above all, is the owner Monica, who is trying to solve every little or big problem, with a smile and a good mood. I wish every host to be as helpful, as Kind, as Monica was, in order to make your holiday memorable.

I am not sure but it seemed like our towel and blanket were not changed everyday. no airconditioner.
