Perfect place to explore beautiful Tropea! S’O offers modern, super clean apartments with a cozy bed and amazing balcony views. Top quality shower and everything to make your own morning coffee/tea. Owners respond so quickly to any question (and helped us arrange last minute transport!). We really appreciated Marlena’s friendly nature. Located in heart of old town, surrounded by restaurants and shops.

the design is sometimes more important than the practical side (e.g. kitchen/dining); make sure you know the trick, how to get hot water, if it's not working (an easy one)

The location, the bed, the shower, the terrace. The cleaning staff were exceptional and tried to be helpful with our hot water issues. The managers were helpful in arranging taxi transfers.

Issues with hot water not reaching the kitchen, that were not fixed during our stay. Really, nowadays a dishwasher should be standard equipment for hygiene. Also no extraction fan in the kitchen. There are definitely some “form over function” design issues - like hangers almost at the ceiling and requiring a hook like they use in shops to hang your clothes! How silly! Stick-on hooks in the bathroom that were so high I could only reach them on my tiptoes, and one fell off. Some questionable construction materials have been used - styrofoam trim?! No bidet. There was a heavy-duty hose next to the toilet that was maybe to compensate. It leaked and was so powerful, - well, damage could be done! Some sort of laundry facilities on the property would be a great improvement.

This apartment was absolutely amazing. It has everything you would want, a large balcony with a gorgeous view, good AC, spacious rooms, great location and amazing hosts. The staff were super attentive and the whole building was kept in amazing condition. Me and my mother loved staying here. It’s also so hard to find somewhere as lovely as this so close to the town but this is right in the middle so nothing is a far walk. 10/10

Nothing, the only thing I would note is that there is no washing machine and only a top hob, no oven, which could be an issue if you were staying for a while.

Everything was perfect. The accommodation is in the very centre of town yet feels very private thanks to the landscape. It is modern and clean and has a a very beautiful view overlooking the sea, the port, the beautiful country views. If I ever go back to Tropea, I will definitely stay here again. The host was beyond friendly and helpful, he organized us transfer from and to the airport and booked the most beautiful table in one of the best restaurants in town. Thanks a lot!

The only thing we missed was the cutlery but we managed to eat the pizza without it.

The location and town could not be more picturesque. It rained 4/5 days we were there but was still lovely. The apartment is clean and has amazing views of the marina and coastline. It is extremely tidy and the host is amazingly accommodating

One minor criticism could be a change to furnishings to allow for 3 adults staying together, as sharing a room isn't always practical. Even a single pull out bed that could be used in the living area would solve this.

Amazing view and location, every time a great stay ! This is our third time at S’O Suites and it is always a great experience to be back! Staff were super friendly and accommodating with our late check in request, rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, top facilities for quick dinner on the terrace with those amazing views over the Marina.

The location is perfect with a partial view of the sea. The suite is like a small modern appartment and is very clean and well decorated. There is no breakfast but the young man working there suggest spots for breakfast nearby 5 minutes away as well as a place to park our rental car. the balcony is nice but not private as guest use the same balcony separated by a few planters and people were walking by ( strange as a young lady passed in front of the bedroom patio door to take the stairs behind the suite and we did not expect this.) The owner Oscar helped us with a restaurant reservation in the old town which we really appreciated. We loved Tropea and it's lively happy people and wished we could have stayed longer. It was my favorite spot of our long trip in Italy

There was an issue where we had no hot water after a couple of cold showers we informed them and they promptly fixed the issue. we should have contacted them right away. There is no TV in the bedroom which we kind of missed but not a big deal as there a big TV in the living/kitchen It was so hot outside that a pool would be nice but that's just me :)

Second time staying at this property, first time was back when it first opened in 2018! Location was 10/10. Place is spotless. the balcony was a great facility as we had our little dog with us! Would 100% rebook this property.

The only issue was the shower seemed to leak out onto the floor slightly but nothing a towel could fix! Check out is 11am.. but we booked so last minute. So didn’t mind as we were travelling to the next town!

The apartment was immaculately clean and well appointed with everything you'd expect to make a stay enjoyable. It is a beautifully white, clean, open space and there's a real feeling of calm and respite from the heat outside. All the fittings were new. Great to have an espresso machine and milk frother! Huge shower that worked perfectly. Linens changed regularly for us. The owner was so kind in lending us beach towels and an umbrella very last minute. The lady who showed us in and who came regularly to check we were all OK was just such a kind, helpful soul. And it is in a wonderful location - honestly couldn't be better ...beaches easily reachable on all sides. Very quiet and just on the of the old town for enjoying the evenings out.

Nothing not to like! It would have been nice to have 2 pillows each for extra comfort (a small thing) and we noticed that some of the other apartments had areas for a couple of outside loungers... so if this is important, ask when booking.
