Everything was excellent Danilo the owner was charming he could not do enough to help rooms excellent cleaning lady lovely breakfast very good We had to walk everywhere as there was no public transport we hired a car for a day which was made easy as Danilo organised it I loved everything

Properly the fact we had to walk my husband is slightly disabled and he found the hills a struggle sometimes but we managed it and were much fitter by the end of the time so win win

For the price our expectations were by far exceeded! A wonderful host welcomed us and made sure that everything was fine, we could really feel his passion for hospitality! Our room was the large suite on the top floor. It was extremely spacious, had two balconies with stunning ocean, city and mountain views. Since it was the top floor, the ceilings were a bit low towards the walls - yet still fine for us. The breakfast was alright, for the price quite good since any wishes you had were fulfilled by the host (e.g. freshly made eggs to your liking, homemade baked cake etc). To summ it up: The host and the accomodation made this place the highlight of our trip - I am happy to come back next year!

Nothing really bothered me. If anything you might consider arriving by car because it is still a 15 min walk into the city/ocean. Plenty of parking opportunities though!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Great communication. Room was spotlessly clean. Big room and bathroom with everything you need. Nice area, safe for parking. 10 minute walk into the centre which is a big bonus because parking in the historic centre is difficult. Sea view from the breakfast room. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Lovely home made cakes. Even catered for my gluten free needs. Lovely guy. Very professional. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and to stay again myself.

Clean room wit a very nice bathroom and a terrace overlooking the garden and sea in a distance. Comfortable bed. Very quiet surrounding, cca.12 min walk to historic centre with amazing view and a beach. Good comunication with the owner who by himself made us a nice breakfast the first morning but unfortunately fell ill the second day.

No complaints...only suggestion would be to add an extra chair to the room as there was only one.

Villa Saturno is located in a nice & quiet neighbourhood which is still within walking distance of Tropea's beautiful historical centre. Danilo the host is very kind, communicative and responsive even before arrival and the room is very clean with a beautiful view towards the sea from the balcony, a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Breakfast is a good selection of cakes, bread, cheese & ham, fruits etc. There is free parking on the road outside which feels safe and secure. The wifi works well.

Lighting not so good if you try to read in bed at night. Stairs to 1st floor are fine but narrower for upper floor. They forgot to tell us how to open gate from inside property at check-in so we had to figure it out ourselves as no one was there to ask. Walk into town is a bit worrisome due to fast vehicles whizzing by you along the way on the narrow streets

Villa Saturno is very clean, has a nice small garden with fruit trees were you have breakfast. Danilo, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good for that price. We had nice cakes and omeletts from Danilo's mom :)

We did not have a good extra bed for our 2,5 year old (we did not want to pay extra for it and it was okay), so my wife, our eldest and the youngest had to squeeze in a double bed. Was not confortable. Also, downtown Tropea is a footwalk of 15-20 minutes away, so is the beach. A better coffee machine would be great. There is no market, restaurant or shop nearby, you have to walk all the way to the centre. Coffee at the B&B could be better, and a (payable) coffee machine in the building for the whole day would be great. The transfer from/to the airport in Lamezia is a bit expensive (220 Euros) return, even if we arrived and left at late/very early hours.

Large spacious room. Easy parking on the street right outside the house. Fabulous breakfast, not the usual Italian cornetto & coffee. Cold cuts & cheese, homemade crostata & cake, croissant, crusty bread, assorted yogurts, cereals, assorted fruit. On top of all that, Danilo even made us fresh squeezed orange juice and omelette to order. Wow. We felt taken care of.

The house is in a neighborhood which makes parking easy & provides spacious living. But the downside is that one would need to walk to the Centro storico. Probably about 15 minutes, not too bad. Saw many people walking back to their living quarters in the dark at night with flashlights. Must be many vacation homes in this area.

I liked the room, it was spacious, bright and clean without unnecessary items. Everything was thought through. We had a room with a terrace and a garden and it was great ! The bathroom has also everything what you need. I felt really comfortable. The bed was great. The AC. What I didn't expected was the room was cleaned every day, during the breakfast. Very nice surprise ! Danilo also confirmed earlier check in , which we asked for. The breakfast was really good, outside on the garden, lot of choices . I really appreciated that Danilo asked for the food allergies, that is very important. There were sweets, but also baguettes and cereal. Coffee, fresh juices, fruits. Danilo was a great host, always asking if all ok ! He's there if you need help or any requests (bikes etc ) Overall, it exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, quiet and calm, only 15 min walking to the busy center ( so happy to stay outside of this loud streets ) The garden is full of flowers and fruits. If ever come back, will choose Villa Saturno again :)

We had a warm and kind welcome from the staff. The apartments were a nice size each with its own bathroom and the the sea view was very nice. Danilo treated us well with a nice breakfast of pastries, coffee, fresh juice and fruit. The location had lots of parking. The beach was a short drive from the apartment.
