We spent 2 nights in Hotel Gardenia in Verona. The hotel was spotlessly clean, well equipped with very friendly and helpful staff. Verena at the front desk was exceptionally helpful with guide books and city sighseeing pointers. Although the hotel is about 15 minutes from the center of Verona, it is very well connected by taxi and bus. The bus stop is about a 4 minutes walk from the hotel and the hotel also sells bus tickets whch is very convenient. As we had a car, parking was available . Breakfast was ample with a good selection of choices.

There was nothing that we did not like about the hotel.

The price during our stay (January 2023) was very good for this region. The rooms are clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast is o.K. The Bus stop to downtown Verona is a convenient 3 minute walk away and it takes around 15 minutes to get to the Arena in downtown. The bus leaves every 20 minutes and tickets can be bought at the reception or online. Strongly recommend taking the bus, since traffic and parking in Verona downtown is quite the challenge. Parking at the Hotel however is convenient. There is lots of parking available.

Nice hotel, at the edge of the city, works very well if you want to go by car as it offers underground, monitored, paid parking, but also ground unmonitored parking. There are also a few bus line stops, 3-10 minutes on foot away, that one can take towards the city center. The staff was very friendly. We'd happily stay there again.

The breakfast could have more options, but everything was tasty. Maybe the rooms feel a bit dated, but that's a matter of taste, check the photos by yourself :)

Curtains blocked out the light, which was great in the morning. Hygiene cover o remote was a nice oltouch since covid is still about, and the remote harbours a lot of germs. I haven't seen any other hotels do covers for the remotes. Nice touch! The vending machine was in a good spot and good prices to get drinks.

It was tricky to insert my HDMI cable into the TV as the TV was hard mounted to the wall. I had to plug in the HDMI cable without looking and using feel only as there was no room to access the back of the TV. It would be good to have the TV's on a movable bracket so customers can get to the ports for the TV. As I am english speaking only, I connect my laptop to the TV via HDMI cable to watch Netflix. My partner mentioned that a bigger range for breakfast would have been good. I would have loved some pancakes but was satisfied with croissants and coffee. My partner would have loved some bacon and eggs. Some hot food selection would be perfect.

The staff was very friendly and polite. One day I requested an early breakfast and they opened the dining room for me specifically before the official opening hours. The room was rather quiet and the air conditioned was well working. The hotel is located a bit far from the center, but there are multiple bus lines, which are stopping nearby.

Although it is not allowed to smoke in the hotel, we were surprised that our room always smelled like cigarettes. The hotel is also located quite away from the center, so this is a good option for those who travel with the car, rather than those who rely on the public transport.

The room was freshly refurbished, all the furniture pieces were brand-new. The beds had very good mattresses (not too soft). The shower cabin had a tight door, so it was super convenient to shower (no leakages/spills). There was a spacious free parking just in front of the entrance door. Overall, the hotel is a perfect choice for a quiet and comfortable rest, especially if you are on your way through Italy.

There was no hot food in the breakfast menu, which is why I did not rate it 10.

I liked everything. The place is located in the outskirts of Verona but it can be easily reached by bus. There is a nice, true Italian (Mitiko) restaurant nearby, walking distance from the hotel. This is a great choice for visiting Verona. You will not regret

Nothing bad to say

I stayed at the hotel for 2 days. I arrived by car and my main biggest concern was if there was parking. -Parking - the hotel has its own parking lot and there was plenty of free space for parking (end of May). A hotel has an underground garage which costs 5 Eur/night (a very reasonable price). -The facility is very nicely decorated, it has a dining room and there is a large plateau in front of the hotel where you can have a drink. You can feel the very pleasant atmosphere of Italy, hospitality, and order. -The room had everything it should have - a very comfortable bed, a great bathroom, and even a safe and a minibar. -Cleanliness 10/10 - a big compliment to the housekeeping department. -Internet - very good - Breakfast was great (sweet and savory breakfast) and the coffee selection is outstanding. -The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable both at the reception and in the dining room. -Location - the hotel is approximately 4-5 km away from the old city center, which is very easily reached by car but I don't know how accessible it is by public transport.

The staff make this place even more of a wonderful place to stay. The whole place is spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained. The rooms are way larger than the regular European standard. Wall outlets with a switch between 110/240, so all your American appliances wont fry. The price to quality ratio is just to good not to pass up a stay here. Did I not metion ample free parking, well they got that covered too...

Not a single thing

The hotel located about 10 minutes from the centre of Verona by car. The appartment is perfect, has 2 rooms. The fridge with refreshment drink was a nuce surprise. The breakfast was exellent, varies of coffe and juces , ham , cheesem, croisants and more I definetly recomend this hotel. Thank you.
