There are not enough words to describe this place. You arrive in Paradise. Villa Ketty Resort is a splendid place where you can breathe the air of Italy. Villa Ketty is a fairy tale where I definitely fall in love with that area. We started our journey on Amalfi Coast with Vico Equense and we were lucky to find wonderful people at Villa Ketty. The breakfast reflects the passion of Villa Ketty’s owner to make all their guests feel perfect, the infinite variety of cheese, the hand made cakes, the taste of the food….The view…. OMG, it can be described, you must go there. And the people are absolutely special, very kind, nice, and polite. Humanity won the big pride here, with these wonderful people. We will definitely come back to Villa Ketty. Next year will be there, for sure. You can go there to rechage your battery, to read, to write, to enjoy your family only, and to stay with yourself, to rink a good coffe, to admire the view, to drink a good wine, or just to breath the Paradise. Thank you for all!

We flew into Rome, took the high speed train to Naples, then the commuter train from Naples to Vico Equense. Be prepared: The Naples-to-Vico Equense trek is 29 stops, but very inexpensive. We called Antonio to ask if we could get a ride to the resort from the train station. Ten minutes later we were comfortably in our spacious room that had a window overlooking the Mediterranean. While Antonio graciously offered to drive us to and from town, we chose to explore everything on foot, including a trip to the marina and catching a train to Sorrento for shopping. Vico Equense was easy to get to, with good food but limited shopping, and was safe. We felt like Vico Equense gave us more an authentic Italian coast experience than in Sorrento (including a delicious Panini sandwich in the lower level of the Wembley Restaurant watching a soccer match with the locals) . Going to Sorrento and examining some of the hotels I had considered made me even happier that we stayed at Villa Ketty. In March, the trees were just beginning to bud but the lemons were fully ripe and Antonio and Denise used these in traditional family recipes to serve the guests, especially at Breakfast. And what a breakfast. Everything was locally sourced, organically grown and deliciously satisfying. Fresh squeezed orange juice, incredible cappuccinos, smoked cheese, freshly baked quiche, fruit, breads, greens with cherry tomatoes in a mild balsamic vinegar, homemade jams and fruit spreads, thinly sliced prosciutto, and more. Antonio serves you while at the same time sharing a bit about his family history on the property and how some of the breakfast items are made. I felt healthy eating there without sacrificing any of the drawbacks of a "healthy" diet (if you know what I mean). It's no wonder that guests come back annually to the Villa Ketty resort!!!

Every single minute from arrival. Antonio and Denise along with every single member of staff are the best hosts... friendly, helpful, attentive and welcoming. The room was amazing (we had number 10) with a stunning view across the bay, down to the beach and up to the mountains. The place is set on levels as you'd expect and the layout is superb. The pool is great as is the bar and dining area. Breakfast is a theatrical experience and the food was delicious. We walked easily to the beach but there's other options if it's not a choice to walk. Libion is a lovely friendly little dog as well who loves a bit of attention. Cannot recommend Villa Ketty highly enough.... outstanding. Thank you!

Absolutely nothing not to like

The view from the room was stunning and costs a lot) The villa itself is beautiful and perfectly maintained. The stuff is beyond any expectations - friendly, helpful. The breakfast served from local products of exceptional quality, again, with stunning view. It was a wonderful stay! Thank you, Antony and Denis!

The villa is situated on the higher part of the village, which we appreciated a lot and enjoyed walking in the city and back. Maybe for someone it will be too steep, but the hotel offers a ride to the village on the hotel car whenever you need, so this inconvenience can be easily solved .

Everything was wonderful! The views are breath-taking. Looking out over the sea, the mountains, Vesuvius - you couldn't ask for more. The team looking after you went above and beyond - they made you feel so welcome in their home, it was so special. They were absolutely amazing with our young daughter - she felt part of their incredible family. This was our first family holiday and it couldn't have been more perfect. As for the food... where do I even begin! Exceptional - especially the breakfast. We have never felt so spoilt and eaten so well. All freshly prepared using home grown or local produce. Absolutely incredible and so tasty! We looked forward to going down to breakfast every morning. Antonio and Denise put on the most incredible spread - I don't think we will ever find anything quite like it elsewhere. The Villa Ketty is a dream come true. We feel so lucky to have been there and can not wait to return. What a place - Thank you so much!

It would be impossible to find anything not to like

EVERYTHING! The place is gorgeous, clean, well maintained with amazing view. The rooms were wonderful, had everything we needed and were so clean and spacious. It’s clear the staff love what they do as all were so helpful and welcoming. It was great even just talking with them and ask for advice and ideas of what to see around. Antonio gave us a lot of priceless tips! We were staying with our 1.5yo son and I can’t thank Antonio, Denise and the team enough for how warm and nice they were. Made traveling with a baby so much easier. The whole team were so patient and kind. Every morning in the breakfast he got his own sit already organized with a children chair, bib and his own safe spoon fork and knife (all suitable for children). The breakfast is just amazing, everything is so fresh and delicious. In our last evening we had a pizza party which was fantastic! We were in a lot of places around the world and this place is truly exceptional. Thank you guys! We will definitely come back!

Our experience was outstanding. The owners and staff were all kind and efficient. By the time we left, it was like leaving family. The grounds and views are beautiful. Every direction you look makes a beautiful photo. The food was delicious. The pool was wonderful and very clean. The property is remote, part of what makes it lovely. The staff will shuttle you to a point where you easily catch a train or other transport. We would love to return, and met several people who were returning guests and some who extended their stay. Maybe that say it all!

Very gracious and helpful staff. Antonio and Denice, and all, went above and beyond to serve us. They were constantly thoughtful, engaging and accommodating. The view, oh man, the view was amazing. Relaxing atmosphere. Spacious and elegant room. The breakfasts were comprised of outstanding local, gourmet-level food with a with an amazing view and great atmosphere. Cheeses and local cured meats, hand-made coffee drinks, fresh-squeezed juices, and much more. Italian breakfast cuisine at its best. They make their own pastries and limoncello from lemons on the property! Outdoor patio, also with an amazing view to enjoy drinks, food, or just watching the sun go down over the sea. You will not find another resort like this as it was built by the owner over the course of 20+ years.

We have zero complaints. Everything was top-notch. We wish we could have stayed much longer!

The location is fabulous. It was like staying with a family. Antonio and his staff couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing, the best I have ever had. There are daily options for dinner if required and a bar whenever you need it. There is cake and sweets available in the tea area. The whole property is scrupulously clean. It is a short walk to the village, where there are many restaurants but Antonio will arrange a quick shuttle down. We didn’t have a car and he picked us up from the station. There is no car park at the property, it is located in the village. This is because the road up is very narrow. Be prepared for a wow moment when you arrive. We were greeted with cake and fresh juice. I will definitely return. This place is a real find.

Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay. Antonio, Denise, Fernando, Filipe and the staff were amazing. There is simply nothing better than being welcomed into a home like this with kindness. The thought and effort that goes into everything at villa Ketty is incredible. We were so sad to leave. This was by far our favourite part of our European holiday. I know many people seek out the glitz and glamour of Positano and Sorrento, but this is a unique, authentic, genuine experience and connection that soothes the soul and warms the heart with (in my opinion) a far better view and experience.
