This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in all my years of traveling! The hosts are truly fantastic! They instantly made me feel at home, offered me a cold beverage, and were full of helpful directions and recommendations. They truly went above and beyond to make my short stay here incredible. The breakfast is absolutely divine, with fresh, homemade tarts, fruit, pastries, coffee, and anything else you could ever want/need. And the view is truly out of this world. I felt like I was in a film as I sat eating my breakfast, looking down at the sea and the town's center. The room itself is lovely. Very big, quiet, impeccably clean, with a lovely shower, a comfortable bed, and great air conditioning. And this is a great location, quick and easy to get to from the town center/train station by the circulator bus and/or walking (the walk from the house down into the main town is dreamy and full of beautiful views). The hosts always offered to drive me when they were able to, including down to the town's beach, for which I was super grateful. And the town itself is lovely! I was so, so glad I stayed here instead of in Sorrento, or Positano, which felt more touristy, crowded, and expensive. Overall, it would be a privilege to say here again and I send warm wishes to the hosts and their beautiful family!

The view house is a real gem located in the non touristy town of Vico Equense which has great restaurants and beaches and is a 10 minute train from Sorrento. The property itself is situated up hill and is a 10 minute walk into town with a bus stop approx 200 yards away - very handy! The best part of this stay was by far the host Marilina who made us feel so welcome and did the most beautiful breakfast for us each morning (her homemade cakes are to die for). The accommodation was exceptionally clean, spacious and modern and the views are breath taking. Thank you Marilina - we hope to be back soon!

There is absolutely nothing we didn’t like about this stay - it was perfect!

Marilina is the most wonderful hostess! She was so helpful and kind and made the most delicious cakes we have ever eaten (honestly). My husband loved the cakes so much that he had two slices of all of them every morning and Marilina even gave him extra slices to eat later in the day - a real highlight and so generous! The property is in an excellent location and can be reached by foot from the train station (with a scenic uphill walk) and is located conveniently close to a bus stop. Marilina has taken great care to ensure that the guest house is clean, comfortable and well equipped and she is readily available to answer questions and assist. We loved our stay there and will absolutely be back!

We had very pleasant stay ever. The host Marilina was exceptional. She treated us like friends. She fulfilled our every wish, was very helpful. As a local, she gave us advice on the best things to see/do on the Amalfi coast and how to get there. Large clean comfortable room and equally large bathroom with a great shower, an amazing view on Vico from the terrace. Delicious breakfast freshly made every morning literally on request. Such accommodation and attention is difficult to find. We will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The View House! Marilina and her family made this such a special experience for us. We can’t say enough about the delicious breakfast each morning on the terrace, overlooking Vico Equense…absolutely stunning! We were also able to watch amazing sunsets from the terrace in the evening. Having parking available was very helpful, as we were able to walk into Vico and take the train to other towns as well. The room was spacious, clean and had a small kitchen with everything we needed.

I am travelling a lot but the hosts of this accommodation were making a difference. Marilina and Michele are wonderful people with very warm heart and very helpful. We got a nice and various breakfast every morning and cakes made by Marilina. The house itself is far beyond average, the rooms and bathrooms are totally new and modern, the terrace is spacious and has excellent view to the bay of Vico Equense and the town, with lovely lightening in the evening. The location is perfect if you want to discover the Sorrento peninsula with car. There is a pizzeria within one minute and you can walk to the city center by 10 minutes and there are lot of shops and restuarants. The train station is also there you can easily reach the Vesuvio station or in the opposite direction the Sorrento station from where the ships go to Capri. We had one of the more pleasant stay in our life here and I hope we can see each other again one day! :) <3

Loved the views from the terrace, the location (away from the noise and tourism), the host was also amazing...very polite and giving some good recommendations to us. She is also a really good chef, that's why the breakfast is so amazing!

Everything worked really well. Just as a small improvement I'd say that wifi could be a bit faster. But honestl;y, it's difficult to find a better valued place for the money. I'd come back without any doubt!

We had wonderful stay at the View House. The view is beautiful, it is easy to commute to Sorento, Pompei and Vesuvius. Room was very good size with kitchen and bathroom. Room was absolutely clean and was cleaned daily. We had a wonderful fresh breakfast at the patio with Marilina’s superb cakes. Altogether we were very well looked after and loved our stay!

Many thanks to Mariliana and Michel, they took us by car before we even got home because we had our luggage. They treated us like we went to our family's house. We are very happy to meet them. I recommend Mariliana's delicious breakfast to everyone. The house is perfectly clean and spacious, with a great location for touring the Sorrento peninsula. The incredible scenery was truly mesmerizing. When we were back, they dropped us off until the train, and Mariliana also offered some excellent cakes for the journey. Thank you for being one of our family, we will miss you.

We should have stayed longer, that was the only mistake in our stay.

We were so glad that we booked the View House. Marilina and Michele went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were extremely kind, welcoming and so helpful in recommending places / things we should go and see / do during our stay. The room was extremely large and comfortable, everything you could need and a well equipped kitchen too which was handy. There was a lot of choice at breakfast which was served in front of the beautiful view. Again Marilina and Michele went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could want. We would whole heartedly recommend booking to anyone who is considering it!
