We -as a family with young children- were looking for a nice 5star hotel but with good facilities for children. The balance between 5star service, 5star atmosphere and not turning the hotel into a children’s playground is a delicate one. But this hotel and staff definitely managed to combine the two successfully. I honestly had doubts when I read about there being a buffet dinner, but they make it work! Marvellous freshly made real Italian food, some being cooked live by the chefs. Wonderful location by the sea with private beach, multiple swimmingpools in a beautiful garden setting. The staff was very polite and friendly. Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed with as a family. All staff was great and not one did not fit team. Gym/fitness was minimal, needs an update. Only thing I can think of.

We had a fantastic stay at Falkensteiner. Although we encountered a slight issue with our room during check-in, Aliza, the manager, promptly resolved it and ensured we received the room we had booked. Throughout our three-day stay, we had a wonderful time, especially the kids. The entire staff was super friendly, making the experience even better. This resort is perfect for families, and the food was amazing. The beach, pools, and entire property are simply beautiful.

Self service dinner set-up not our preferred option though food was generally very good. Parking outside in the heat not ideal in high summer. Beach is nice but there are better ones in the area.

This is a breathtaking resort! I fell in love with my elegant room and picturesque balcony view. The resort delivers on all counts, from the beach, grounds, excursions (sailing with Maby Mare is a must-do), hospitality, generous food offerings, spa, complimentary yoga, and overall atmosphere make this resort a top pick. Just be advised that the resort caters to young families. Will I return? Absolutely! But I will visit off-season as, at my age, I seek a more tranquil and serene atmosphere.

This is not a complaint, as I feel children are wonderful beings, but I was shocked to learn that the resort was family-focused. Traveling alone, I desired an upscale and sophisticated atmosphere. To my surprise, I found myself in an activity-heightened environment as the little ones are highly prioritized at the resort, which impacted the refined atmosphere I had set out to enjoy. This is a top-pick resort for families, and I will confidently recommend it to my family and friends traveling with their young families.

Kids club staff was EXCELLENT. Particularly Nicolò, Evelyn, Matteo and Clelia. Would go back just because of them. Location really nice. Loved the fact that it's a small resort. Staff generally (beach, restaurant etc) very friendly.

Service was not even close to 5*. On several occasions we were left waiting for ages, and had to stand up ourselves while having a meal to get cutlery, parmisan or other things!! Not enough space between beach umbrellas, sometimes we had less than 1m between our sunbeds and other people's!! Beach bar service was v sporadic. Definitely not a 5* feel. Room shower ran out of hot water too quickly. We are a family of 5 and only 2 would manage to have a hot shower if were were all showering at a similar time, which is unacceptable. Prices for extras are very high.

Amazing selection of food at breakfast and dinner! The private beach was so lovely too. Didn’t have any issues with finding a seat around the pool. Extremely clean facilities and lovely garden suite bedroom with very comfortable beds.

Swimming pools were quite cold (sea was warmer) and the pool bar food was expensive and not that good in comparison to the Kento restaurant and normal restaurant. Quite remote so would recommend a car if you want to explore. We just stayed at the resort and relaxed so it wasn’t a problem.

The kids club was the highlight of the trip with the staff there making the kids experience fantastic. Very dedicated staff and they clearly they love and know how to entertain children . Gave us parents a break to enjoy all the facilities at the resort and couple time together . Also appreciated a lot of their personal effort and touches to make my daughter’s birthday special. Not much to say apart from maybe they could offer dance classes to couples, more on-site or water activities?

The hotel is very nice and the location excellent. The service, so so.

Organization and staff service. My son had an accident and he wounded a foot. There was no first aid kit in the hotel. The closest pharmacy was far. My husband had to take a taxi to the village to buy things to cure him, but he forgot an antibiotic cream for the wound. We asked if the hotel could call the pharmacy for the cream delivery. They said they would do it, but they forgot. On the first day, the room was not cleaned until 4. The hotel is beautiful, but they don't have good service.

The waiters are not sufficiently professional. At some point we had to wait 20+ minutes between our wine list and the wine. At breakfast they messed up with my eggs order (OK), then reordered and that went wrong too (other customers got served for quite some time). At some point I walked away as they were blaming each other. At night, the waiter who obviously recognized me didn't apologize (when a client gives up he is probably quite dissatisfied so it would have been nice to ask how to make up or at least recognize the error and apologize for the mistake) All in all, I found the evening food quite repetitive and relatilvey quiickly boring (relative to other 5 star resorts we have been to)

It was a wonderful hotel resort. It is a haven, especially for families with children aged 3 and above. Children can have fun with Falky staff from 10am to 1.30am, then after a short break they can have fun again with Falky staff from 3pm until bedtime. Kids can eat lunch and dinner with them if they want. Adults can enjoy free time in the meantime, and the fitness activities always available are stress-free luxury at the best. The buffet-style dinners are sumptuous, and the menus are very enjoyable every day. I would like to stay here again next year. Thank you!
