It was in a great location. The owner we great and very accommodating. We were in walking distance to a great local bar, a huge shopping center tons of restaurants and stores. The bus stop was also only a block away and the beach!!

No coffee maker. One of the buildings next door was not in great shape.

Location is in a strategic position. The venue is very good. It is just across the beautiful 2 mile river and 3 blocks away from the world famous Waikiki Beach. The building looks impressive and clean. The rooms are well built and functional. The whole area is well kept and maintained. The service is excellent and the management is very accommodating. I highly recommend Holiday Surf Hotel. We will definetely go back and stay in this hotel.

I cannot find anything to dislike.

1) Great location (just 10 min walk from the Waikiki beach) 2) We got a very good price for our 3-night-stay 3) There is a car park in the building which is super convenient (it’s a paid service but at a fair price) 4) The communication with the hotel’s staff was very good and precise via Booking messages. we got all the needed information before we arrived.

The bedclothes, towels were all fresh and clean but I’d improve the overall cleaning in the room.

Location is good, slightly off the hassle of waikiki which makes it quieter, 5 -10 mins walk to the beach, there are convenience stores nearby.

Even though kitchen comes equipped with all the necessary cooking items, I couldn't use any of it, it was greasy and no dish soup. So i ended up purchasing disposable plates but never actually cooked there. Also they charge late arrival fees for check-in anytime after 9pm

Great location. All the amenities you would need.Five minutes walk to Waikiki, and parking on site, though you have to pay. The Manager was good to deal with and the staff were lovely. The cooking facilities were adequate and there’s a big fridge. Two tv’s and two aircons are good. The double bed was comfortable and when we asked for extra pillows it was no problem.

Paying for parking, but the rates are pretty standard for this area.

Prime location for Waikiki. Just minutes away from Duke statue and Waikiki beach. Great views of the river in the morning with all the canoes. Glad we had a kitchen and full size fridge. Great price for a one bdrm and 2 single beds in lounge. Great!

Parking is pricey, but it’s like that in Hawaii. Our key card to the door had issues but was easily fixed in no time. Also doing Laundry outside. And no access to balcony.

The location was great - close to everything in Waiki. The room was as expected for what we wanted. The manager is an amazing friendly person! The cleaning lady's, especially the short one with glasses, very friendly and accommodating....like an Aunty!

There is quite a bit of traffic noise but, that is to be expected in general for the location - not exclusive to the hotel nor is it the hotel's fault.

The staff at this hotel were super friendly and helpful! They were always only a phone call away and always replied to requests very promptly! This hotel felt more like home than a hotel and we were treated more like family than customers! It was two blocks from Waikiki beach and even closer to shopping and the main bus stops! We loved that we had two separate sleeping areas! The full kitchen really helped with the total cost of food and the ease of getting out and about quickly in the morning! I also liked that they locked the entry doors at night and a key card was required to get in or use the elevator! I felt like it offered a real Hawaiian experience.

The kitchen sink had a leak if you turned it up really high and the burgundy curtains clashed with the blue cloud ceiling. Really that is all I can think of! This place was amazing!

Really nice of the hotel to let us stay until 3pm without extra charge! 10 points for our friend at the reception!
