Breakfast was delightful, with coffee to match. I love how it was community based and the staff was really kind and knew us by name. I was surprised they provided us with shampoo and conditioner, laundry soap as well and was real appreciative. What I also loved was that I was able to get work done inside or out the cafe in a comfortable setting. Stores and shore and American Village is walking distance.

I wish I had something bad to say, but not much to say at this point. I loved my experience there and the friends I made along the way.

For my purpose of doing diving it worked out well as dive shops nearby along with the shore dive spots. Close to a supermarket, several blocks from main road to catch public buses. With a little stroll can get to American Village. Also liked that they had the coffee shop where you can eat indoor or outdoor. Even though they had space to cook and a shared frig.

I was not there during the day to notice.

A hidden gem in Chatan! The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the room and facilities were clean as well. If you're staying at the hostel, you can use the cafe as a lounge/working space. The location was great too- convenient stores and a huge supermarket just around the corner. Many restaurants, nail salons too. You can walk along the beach to enjoy the sunset, or even walk for 15-20 min to American Village. Last but not least, the coffee was amazing.

There are separate bathrooms and toilets for female. Facilities are clean, good enough. I love the water stand, and also we have cold water in the fridge, very thoughtful.

The smell in the room. I was too tired so the noise was not a problem for me, but the smell of sweat from others pretty strong. I had to buy my own air freshener and put it into my bunk bed.

Great location in American village, and the staff were super helpful regarding planning the rest of my trip and very social.

Others in the hostel weren’t as social as would’ve hoped

Very nice staff and coffee bar near the American town. The shower was what you can expect and the beds were stiff. If you don't like very stiff beds this will not be a positive thing. The food in the bar was super tasty and looked good!

Nice spot, primarily a coffe spot/brunch/lunch/dinner place with the sleeping area in the back. Can louge on the terrace and area as it's part of the hostel. Laid back vibes, okinawa style, nice welcoming staff, no fuss, cheap and chill. :)

One of the best hostels ive ever stayed at, the staff were so nice and knowledgeable about the local area and the adjoining cafe offered great food and coffee. The public cafe area made it very easy to meet new people.

- bed mattress a little too thin. - it really didn’t bother me but just a heads up, it can get a little noisy since the hostel is joined to the cafe.

Staff is really welcoming, hip and friendly. Coffee is high quality. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They have a good variety of foreign craft beer. There are many other young travelers to talk to here.
