The atmosphere of the hostel, the staff and the location are great.

I am traveling for more than 2 years and it’s the first time that I have been charged for late check-in only for 15 minutes late (15€). So it is fair but maybe too much… Actually we can feel in this hostel that everything is made for earning money. Besides that we had a great stay.

This property is miles better than the one in Kamakura. The location is superb. Very close to the stations and beach, and lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Restrooms can be busy around checkout time and showers around past 9pm. The dorms have a lot of space. They also have dedicated space to get ready in the room. You'll have to use the backdoor after 9pm. The way to the door on the side of the building can be a tight fit but otherwise fine.

It can be hot in the room with the curtains closed. Also, found a spider in the walls and convinced I got bitten by some after staying for 3 nights. Also, no locked luggage space or personal lockers.

The location is great, within walking distance to Enoshima island and very near to the two Enoshima train stations. Room and shared common areas are clean and air conditioning worked well during hot days. Staffs were helpful. The drink and food in the cafe of the guesthouse tasted good. Besides, they also sell the famous octopus rice cracker and lot of people queue for it.

One shower room on second floor and 2 more on the ground floor, have to wait for shower during peak hour, especially during evening/night time when all guests came back. Cafe is closed early on 7pm, have to come back early to try their drink and food. A bit challenging to carry my big luggage down the high stairs and out via the narrow side door during self check out early morning.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. This was probably my comfiest sleep of the whole trip, despite my being in a top bunk, something I was a little nervous about. The amenities, shower area and space are very good for a cheap room too. I didn't partake in the bar area but it looked decent and well stocked and there was plenty of options nearby too. Absolutely would stay here again.

The back door is very tight if you're wanting to get in or out outside of reception hours. Like extremely close quarters. Do not try to take a large case or even a large backpack without an extra pair of hands

I was impressed with the way this cosy place was managed. There was a quiet machine like efficiency that was almost aesthetic. The layout and organisation of the place was excellent. I loved that it was a spacious bunk room and not a cramped capsule room. I loved it that the toilet and shower were on the same floor. By this time in my trip I really needed a lift because budget places are so often uncomfortable and depressing in various ways but then

The mattresses are not good and I did not sleep well. This is quite a major fault with this guesthouse which otherwise I loved. I think they need to invest in softer mattresses and pillows. The first night I felt there was a downhill slope in my bed which may only be due to an old mattress. The next night there was a noise coming from the room below and the staff tried to solve it but couldn’t do I turned around in my bed to get away from the noise and that’s when the bed became super uncomfortable. I feel bad criticising them for this but it’s important and they really should change the mattresses and pillows to soft ones to match everything else about the place.

It’s very beautiful and the location is great close to the beach. The Enoshima island and the station for the beautiful Kamakura train is also in the same street. So you can do many daytrips. The hostel is amazingly clean and comfortable. The bar has good offers and there a many nice eating spots close by

Keep in mind that there are really strict with the check in times and also with the check out. Read everything carefully so you don’t get in trouble or to pay anything extra.

Excellent location, it’s really close to enoshima, the staff spoke only some English, but were still friendly and helpful. The spaces were small, but still had most things you need. Pretty good value overall.

Didn’t see dish soap for the shared cups, people just rinsed them and put them back. Not the most hygienic practice. The rooms are clean, but the facilities are not the nicest. The shower room set up could be better designed, there was no place to put your things except on top of the foot towels.

It’s very close to the station for the Enoden line and the access to Enoshima. The exterior looks cute. It feels safe for female solo travellers and quiet.

A little bit more ventilation would be great. I stayed on the 2nd floor where there is only 1 female WC. Luckily I travelled in winter so it was not crowded, but during peak season you might have to wait a little for your turn. You need to bring your own slippers (if necessary) because they don’t have any for guests. Personally I don’t mind though.

First the staff there is so nice that makes me feel relaxing when staying there. It is also beautiful and clean, cleaner than most of the business hotels. Bed is warm in the cold days and the warm brown light makes me relax too. Also the location here is pretty convenient. It is just 4 mins walking away from Enoshima station. What’s better, it is so cheap that for the people who did not have much money for the trip like me will feel comfortable during the vacation. This guest house is a great choice when visiting Enoshima.

I loved this property and location!! the owners and staff were lovely. The gentleman working in the front desk and cafe whom I assumed is the owner was extremely helpful. I injured my knee and needed to arrange a taxi to my train station and he arranged my taxi pickup and helped me with my bags when I first checked in and checked out without asking (there’s stairs). I will definitely stay here again when I’m in Enoshima. This stay alone made me want to visit Enoshima all over again! My cousin who was staying with me even extended her stay and made a reservation directly with him. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality.
