This hotel is a converted apartment building, so the units are much more spacious than typical Japanese hotel rooms. The building is not particularly new or luxurious, but the rooms are well-suited to family stays since some units have two bedrooms (one of the bedrooms was originally the living room of an apartment), and there is a small but functional kitchen. There is also a washer/dryer on the top floor, located more-or-less outside. The location is only three minutes from the omotesando of Dazaifu Tenmangu.

The customised small coffee sachet for the morning. The 3 bedroom apartment. The late check in till 10pm with staff present. We changed plan and arrived unexpectedly later than announced and there was Sb.
The bed. Very tough and uneven. There is no elevator to access the 2nd storey (not a pb for us). There is a tax collected on behalf of the council for touristic accomodation : this was only Y200/pers but this was not announced.

2 huge bedrooms. Spic and span clean.Just like staying home. Extremely convenient to the shrine.
Daizafu is good for a daytrip only. Nothing to do there other than visit the shrine and kyushu museum. All you need is 4 hours for the whole city.

The location was good and the staff were friendly. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and we enjoyed a 'karaage' menu. Near by Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, there are many shops included convenience store.

The router in the room being above the bed means its flickering lights will always hit you at night. You need to sleep on one side only to not have the lights hit you in the face. Consider putting the router on the floor.

Interesting and slightly exotic accom which we loved. Four floors above a restaurant where we ate and which provided delicious food.
The bathroom is small but that’s no news in Japan. No complaints.
