Location's great. There's a underground passage what leads you directly from the subway exit to the hotel lobby. No need to go outside at all.

Staff did not speak English at all, and were unhelpful when one of my group lost his cap in the bar. Also facilities very outdated

The hotel was beautiful. The room size was comfortable. Beds, although twins, were comfortable and good size for Americans. The staff was so friendly and was able to get reservations for us as I believe there was a language barrier when making reservations directly through the restaurant. The location of the hotel is directly across from the mall and Anpanman. The city is in walking distance, and airport is about 20-15 minute cab ride.

We didn't understand the pool policy. We thought this was a "regular" hotel pool which was disappointing because we had small children and wanted to use the pool

The hotel is on the Airport Subway Line (two stops from the JR Hakata Train Station), within walking distance of Canal City, and Tenjin, adjacent to the Riverain Mall and across the street from the beginning of the Kawabata Arcade. There are four restaurants and a lounge in the hotel with the main restaurant serving an outstanding daily breakfast buffet presented by staff who are extremely attentive to your needs. The hotel is impecabbly clean and well maintained (has to have the quietest, fastest and smoothest running elevators of any hotel we've ever stayed at) with very quiet and comfortable rooms, but the hotel's biggest asset are its staff who are professional, courteous and kind.

There is a charge, and it is expensive, to use the hotel's fitness facilities (pool and gym). There is a very well equipped 24-hour Gold's Gym in the adjacent Riverain Mall which is a very good option at a very low cost compared to the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and spoke English. They helped us with reservations for restaurants in the hotel. The restaurants and bar were great. Great food and drinks, and they were very accommodating to our young granddaughters. The location was in the middle of shops, nightlife, activities for all ages.

The pool is not like an "American" style pool. There is an extra charge and is more of a sports pool. We did not know that when booking. However, we would stay here again!

We could book a large room at the top floor with a reasonable price. The hotel has a class of an authentic luxury place.

The whole building is dated. It could use some renovation. I frequently use Okura Kyoto which is also an old hotel, but they keep the facilities updated better.

The staff are amazing! And the property is easy to find, as well as very clean and comfortable. There are restaurants available onsite. We only tried one and were very happy with it. There is also a small bakery. I would stay again in a heartbeat, mostly if I can get it for a good deal. My top choice for Fukuoka.

It's an elegant hotel with easy access from subway and to nearby restaurants and riverbank. Staffs are professional and well groomed.

It is a very nice hotel but not strongly recommendable to the vacation tourists. Not fully ready to accommodate the various needs of tourists in general but very good for business travelers in my opinion.

The staff were very helpful and could answer our questions. They helped us with the temporary parking location of our rental car even as we then checked out and loaded luggage.

The quieter location is a plus but sometimes you wish you were closer to the activity area of Hakata Station. But this is not a big issue.
