Daiwa Roynet Hotel Gifu

The location is more than perfect for business travelers - just 2 minutes away from Meitetsu station. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean and the staff is more than collaborative. They tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The amenities are perfectly chosen as variety and the rooms are very quiet.

I as for 5 days and the breakfast was one and the same every day. Besides that the choice was more than limited. There's no espresso or cappuccino at all!

The breakfast was good overall, though it could use some more fruits. The location is pretty central so it's easy to get anywhere and plenty of izakaya are nearby.

Needs more fruits for breakfast and a better WiFi. The connection was slow and jittery.

Locations is great have connecting door to family mart, while Mc Donalds and many other restaurant are only few steps away. Gifu station also close and you can see the station from outside of hotel.

I booked room with breakfast, but front office insist it’s room only. After showed all my confirmation and double check many times finally he said okay. He should more carefully next time.

The property isn’t too far from the JR station. Staff was really nice and rooms are neat and well taken care of. Room is surprisingly roomy compared to other hotels.

It is located on a very busy strip! JR station is right down the street, along with many bus routes, and traffic. Luckily, rooms are very quiet and keep most of the noise out, but worth mentioning.

Great location, handy to the station. Convenience store attached and open with 24 hours. Love the option of pushing a button in the room so you don't get cleaning - and they actually listen to your request.

They supplied drip coffee bags however the cups in the room were a bit small to use then properly, they really needed a jug for it - that's the only thing we can fault them on

Located a few minutes walk from the JR and Meitetsu stations', it has spacious rooms equipped with every comfort. Friendly and professional staff. Abundant Buffet breakfast (available from 06.30am to 10am) with tasty Japanese specialities. We were fully satisfied.

Great location close to rail lines, room was very large by Japanese standards (twin single room booked). Took us in at short notice when another hotel proved unsuitable.

Room air conditioning did not drop below 23C, problematic as it was a heatwave when we stayed and stronger respite was needed.

We chose to eat elsewhere during this stay but, had the breakfast previous stays and found it very good. Our time for check out prevented us from having breakfast.

The T.V. although had many channels available, it was not a smart T.V. and would have been nice to have had access to channels like Netflix and YouTube.

Really helpful staff, a short walk from the station, convenient and easy to access. Looks like the pictures

The room we were in was opposite the lift and when people were loud in that area we could hear it in the room. Not an issue in the day but kinda annoying late at night

I’ve stayed in many Daiwa Roynet hotels across Japan and each time was excellent. Free bottle of water. Excellent service. Big bed. Large table. Desk lamp. Convenient stores nearby.

It’s not right next to Gifu station, but close enough for around 5-10 minutes walk.
