Great Location, Very Affordable, Good Room, Great Staff If coming from the port, it is a little far away but the hotel is near a station, outside of that the hotel is in a great location for sightseeing. A good walk to Matsuyama Castle and other sightseeing spots but also right next to Dogo Onsen The room was a bit small but still it had the necessary things needed and is still good value for your money. Staff was very professional and helpful, despite the language barrier. I would recommend staying here and I would definitely stay here again

The room was comfortable, well maintained and cared for. The hallways and common areas have an understated classiness, while although ageing gracefully, lose none of their charm or utility. The laundry service is exceptional; each item returns individually wrapped. And one more thing - perhaps the most important point left until last, the 24 hour concierge staff went above and beyond to ensure I was either warmly greeted or farewelled, each and every time we crossed paths. A truly wonderful rest experienced at the mid-point of my trip, literally next door to the famous Dogo Onsen.

The hotel is located right next to Dogo Onsen. Its a lovely area to walk around in with restaurants, shopping area close by. The hotel and room were nice and we had a very comfortable stay. It was also reasonably priced. Staff was good and we had no problems. Easy walk to the tram station and airport limousine.

Would have liked English tea and coffee in the room, though they made an effort to provide it in the lobby in the morning. Breakfast was Japanese and not great and identical on both days.

The bathroom was the cleanest of all the hotels/hostels I stayed at in Japan, which was incredible given the amount of people staying in a room. I also liked that there was a luggage room/area before the beds so that you couldn't hear people rummaging through their stuff in the night. Overall, very pleasant and comfortable.

The number of beds/people in a the room can be overwhelming, but the beds have enough privacy with the curtains that you can kind of forget about it.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. The staff were also very kind. It was just a short walk from the hot spring town from DOGO Onsen station. There is a hot spring in front of the hotel, and the people who took the hot spring were very kind. In particular, the staff from Taiwan was an interesting person. The grandmother who came every day was also very energetic. like that It was a natural place to meet people. I thought that the view was very good when I went upstairs. This hotel is famous for Natsume Soseki was staying. Security is very good, when you leave your valuables at the hotel, They put my valuables in a paper bag and taped it tightly and kept it for me. I think it's better to leave it in the front desk when you go to the hot spring. My family says that the breakfast was the best meal they have ever had.

They don't have coin laundry.

Hotel Patio Dogo has an amazing location- directly across from Dogo Onsen and right next to the shopping arcade. It was so convenient to be able to go shopping, stop by to drop off bags, and keep going throughout my day. The staff was very kind and helpful- the English support was great! Check in and check out was smooth, the room was clean and comfortable- a great experience overall.

The only thing that was a little less than perfect was the parking situation. They do offer onsite parking, but their garage can only handle low cars. Otherwise, expect to park at the top of a hill that is nearby to the hotel- but has a very steep incline!

Staff are very friendly and they speak good English. Very close to Dogo Onsen (both new and old Onsen). Breakfast is a set meal and every day is the same. There is a self-service coffee machine in the lobby and it opens in the morning. The location is a bit far from Matsuyama Station. And it's hard for us to pull wheeling big lugguge from the tram station or bus station to the hotel because the floor on the street is not flat. (even it's through a famous shopping arcade, good for shopping and eating, but it's not good for moving lugguge around.)

Amazing location, we could see Dogo Onsen (it was right next door) from our room and all the great touristy stuff was within close walking distance. Room was very nice, little cozy but still great.

Car access for parking can be a bit tricky and easy to miss. Breakfast was simple and repetitive. The yukatas that were provided were hotel branded, and made me feel like a walking promotion for the hotel instead of feeling immersed in the environment.

The location is incredible, directly opposite dogo onsen. The room was very spacious, especially compared to Japanese standards. The staff were very helpful in assisting in getting into the car park (it was our first time driving into a stacked car park). The inclusive Japanese breakfast was tasty. It was the first time my wife enjoyed eating natto. It was great to walk to the dogo onsen annex in the supplied yukata, winter jacket, and clogs.

It's in front of theDogo Onsen’s main building. They provide you with yukatas and shoes so you can get the full experience. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is a little bit old yet, they keep everything super clean. The staff is amazing, my suitcase broke whiletraveling and, they were kind enough to help and draw me a map in English to the nearest store where I could buy a new one. みんなさん、本当にありがとうござしつました！！
