Love their breakfast. The food is excellent and they got it right by allowing clients to put the right amount of sauces and seasoning. We found most other hotels did not get the saltiness and sweetness that certain clients are unable to take due to diet restrictions. But with Tenza, they got it right by allowing clients to put the exact amount that they wish. All other services were also excellent.

Unfortately google map took us on a long walk exiting the JR west when we should have exit the east side. But this was the problem with Google, not tenza.

Relaxing atmosphere and comfortable room. The desk for working with computer is spacious. The bathtub is larger than usual compared to other Japanese hotels. Breakfast is ok. Wide type of amenities, and iron for free. Highly qualified staff. Tenza Hotel is near the main train station of Sendai and also a subway stop. Perfect location for both a business trip or tourism. Very well connected to Tohoku University by subway. Many restaurants nearby, including one in the hotel.

Everything was good. The hotel room was clean and neat, although it's an quite old building so there were no USB-charging port. Then I borrowed the adaptor for a night (from the staff) and they let me borrow it for free. The location is close to Sendai St. but I got lost while following the google map and took the back entrance instead, so it felt far for me in the beginning. Nevertheless, if you take the front entrance, the distance should be exactly as written in the description. Thank you so much! <3

Location is pretty good - a short 5 min walk to the Sendai Station. A little longer due to recent road / construction works. While they didn't provide amenities within the room, you can help yourself at the reception area. Lobby is also stylish and trendy if you wish to sit downstairs for a meal you'd bought from the nearby convenience store. Room size is larger than what you'd get in a standard Tokyo business hotel and I liked the large LED TV which I watched lots of local TV to continue brushing up my Japanese. Thoughtful of the hotel to have a freshener to spray on my outerwear after daily use

The lobby is wonderful, along with the vibe of the hotel in general. The staff were very helpful in holding our bags before check in/after check out. Many amenities available too in case you forgot something!

The location is close to Sendai station but on the opposite side from where most things are located. If you don't mind a little walk, this is no big deal as its still pretty close.

Very near to sendai station..and also a few mins away from one subway stop. Love the laindry room, easy and manegable instruction. Spacious common area near the receptionist where you could hv discussions.

Was there for more than a week... the breakfast seems pretty much the same everyday. Wish they vary them a little bit.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view! The staff were pleasant and helpful when needed. The surrounding area was quiet.

The hotel is a bit awkwardly located on the side of Sendai station that doesn’t have much going on. If you are planning on going out for nightlife or are interested in Sendai’s best restaurants, it may be worth considering a stay in a different place. However, if you’re looking for a quiet stay, this hotel is great!

This place was awesome! Amazing to have a hotel room for the equivalent price of a hostel. The lobby is beautiful and staff are very helpful. Free amenities and excellent location close to the station. The room was spotless and even had a bath which was lovely to relax in. Floor to ceiling windows had a view onto the streets below. The bed was large by Japan standards - a full sized Queen mattress.

The room was very small - the bed took up most of the room!

It was very clean! Spacious! And comfortable! The location is nice and what we enjoyed most was the fact that a parking space is connected to the hotel for 1300yen per day! Which was perfect! So convenient! The staff was extremely nice and helpful! Multiple convenient stores are around which was also very good! We would definitely come back!
