Absolutely lovely! Beautiful and majestic old-school onsen hotel. Fantastic view. Lovely onsen. I changed my plans just to enjoy it for another day. Note: there is a shuttle bus pick-up at the port (bus will come within 15 minutes when you call (before 6pm)) - you'll see the pick-up point in front of the low building). There are also drop-offs scheduled in the morning. Great big breakfast. Bicycle available to order.

Beautiful view and convenient walk to Angel Road. They include breakfast and dinner service and the food is excellent. Maybe the lack of eateries that open late at night and early morning so they provide it.

A lot of reviews said run down, it is a bit rundown. But it is a fully functional hotel with good facilities.

The view is spectacular if you have a sea facing view. The rooms are large and spacious, old but well-maintained and cleaned every day. Fresh yakuta and towels are provided every day. They have a lovely onsen, both indoors and outdoors. The staff are wonderful. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and valued. They are so gracious and professional.

There is only wifi in the lobby and lounge area. That means no wifi in the room which is where you would probably be most using it. I felt sorry for the hotel as it must have originally been a top-notch, huge hotel filled with guests. Now due to Japan and world economics and the pandemic it is hardly occupied. Even so, they still maintain a high standard.

Views do not get better than this. Bedrooms large and futons comfortable. The view from the onsen is stunning. Nice staff.

About 20 minutes walk to the ferry but they do have shuttle taxis for free.

The hotel offers pick up service from the Tonosho Port until 6pm. We stayed in the renovated rooms on the ground floor with the sea view and the room was very spacious.

The bathroom didn’t seem to have been renovated and looks quite old and tiny. Visible carpet stains in the hallway. We had dinner at the hotel and a piece of the lettuce in our shabu shabu looked like it has gone bad. My husband had diarrhea after dinner.
