Plus points: - location near the train station - free bath salt provided - the room was very big by Japanese standards (I booked a twin room) - able to extend stay for late check-out at a reasonable amount (500 yen per hour) - convenience store at the lobby of the hotel!

- fittings and furnitures were old - hotel is super busy for some strange reason (all that crowd at the lobby is a little annoying sometimes) - pillows were really flat (and you’re only provided one). - not much food options immediately around (but then this is Uwajima…)

I spent one night here. I had my own little room and everything was perfectly clean. At night it was very quiet and comfortable. When I first entered the room there was an issue with the toilet but after 5 minutes someone came and fixed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The hotel is a couple of minutes away from the train station on foot. It's a bit more expensive than what I usually pay while backpacking but considering it's near the station in a big city, I think it was very good. There is a conbini attached to it and there is also a huge supermarket 5 mins away. I highly recommend it. Great value for money!

The location was so convenient. We have no vehicle so the train station is close and there are lots of buses. The Lawsons so close was extremely convenient and I loved the bath salts. Everything was wonderful. The staff is amazing, so helpful. We used the laundry with such ease.

Perhaps some creamers for coffee instead of the powdered stuff.

Clean rooms and facilities, great location, a Family Mart conveniently situated next to the hotel lobby, and very helpful staff — they went out of their way to help me secure my next accommodation, as I didn't have a local phone number and my Japanese language proficiency is not at a level to make my own reservation.

Nothing significant to note.

The staff was really nice and helpful. We had many questions which they answered and they even called the canyoning company for us too help us reserve our canyoning tour. You can also order breakfast/lunch (either bread with baked meat or rice with fish) to take with you for the next day.

The hotel is very close to Uwajima station, less than a 10 minute walk. There is a convenience store attached to the first floor of the hotel so you can buy any food or supplies you want. On the first floor there are free bath salts that you can use and there is free coffee and tea that you can get at any time.

The TV was quite small and old, the picture quality wasn't very good and it was staticky. The room was quite small, but the bed was a good size.

I liked the location nearby the temples. The convenience of Lawson convenience store in the lobby was very nice. Also, the close parking lot was very easy to use. I liked the free coffee/tea and the other free bathroom items in the lobby.

The air conditioner smelled a bit like mildew was inside, and the single room was a bit small.

You can walk to many interesting places from the hotel. A convinience store is next to the hotel.

If you drive in, the parking could be a bit issue. I was ok, but some customers were asked to park their car somewhere but the staff gave them a recommendation for it.

It is rated as 2 star but is really very comfortable, clean and friendly. We had a non-smoking double room with a firm bed ( not a futon) and private shower and a small refrigerator.. Free coffee and tea in the foyer. Central location with shops, restaurants and temples within easy walking distance.
