Spa is great, service is very good, room was clean (although, some small elements are not ideally maintained. Park zone around the hotel is spectacular, there's a tennis court, football and basketball fields.

Swissotel is a beautiful, well-maintained hotel. You can relax and enjoy the luxury at the same time. We have stayed in the panoramic view room. It has an amazing mountain view from the balcony. The food is excellent too. We enjoyed the tasty and vast spread of breakfast in the morning from Quarter restaurant. We had grilled meat for our lunch from Phonix restaurant located at the lake side of the hotel, which is exceptionally good. The hotel has a few more restaurants too. But we had good burgers in Boxie Bar for dinner. We got free access to the indoor and outdoor pools. Jacuzzi, sauna as well. But the spa is more special. You can book a massage and relax. The masseuses are great, too. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great time at the hotel.

Location, rooms, interrior

-the GYM is too small for such hotel; -breakfast is good enought for a common hotel, but not worth it (for 32$ per person it should be such options like salmon, fresh squeezed juce, etc) -the elevators are overcrouded and so slow;

If you are looking for a wellness retreat away from the city vibes, then this is your place. We stayed there for two nights at the end of our trip to Almaty, and after being tired of day trips, so the hotel was ideal to rest and treat ourselves. The room was renovated and clean, and has a balcony that overlooks the forest. Try to get a room in higher floors for a better view. The breakfast buffet is very good, with plenty of options for all tastes. The spa experience is not to be missed: (best Jacuzzi pools I've ever been to). The hotel location is relatively far from the city center, so keep in mind that commuting will take time, but it's not difficult as transportation options are convenient. Mega Mall is almost 20 minutes away from the hotel (depending on traffic). I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a peaceful/wellness stay. We loved Astau restaurant (east Asian food) for dinner. The staff was very helpful (shout out to Gulzabida and Damir for the lovely buggy tour around the hotel).

Nothing that can affect my positive review. I would only recommend offering more activities for guests to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area, specially in good weather.

We always come for 1 night but due to its nature and location we decide to stay for 2 . Best place for meditation and family building. We love this place more and more due to several points but point 6 is the main reason why we do come here because we love to sleep well : ) 1) SPA and Pool area are always clean and warm 2) Main Restaurant menu is delicious. 3) room service is flexible 4) rooms are cleaned on time by very kind housekeeping 5) Managers are very helpful and supportive 6) bed and pillows are always fresh, huge and soft

Mmm, I don’t like that front desk don’t offer to change your money for small money so you can take care of doorman or bellboy later . Also I don’t like that bellboys are always expecting, awaiting for tips and you feel uncomfortable when you don’t have small money to tip them :)

Amazing. 10 star hotel. What a nature, what a quality, absolutely fantastic place.

I arrived early morning (5 a.m) ans when asked about the breakfast ending time I was wrongly informed that it is 10 a.m. I woke up at 9:55 and thought missed it, when going down I saw that in fact it was 10:30 on Saturdays.. I missed the second day brekakfast as I had an early plane.

They’re helpful and good teams in all the resort.. The resort staff were wonderful and understood what was required of us, helped the guests with what they needed, and provided answers to their inquiries

The cleanliness of the room was not good, as there was a lot of dust on the table and under the extra bed, and the cups that we used had not been cleaned for several days.

The nature around was breathtaking! We loved walking around the frozen lake and the golf course. The spa is amazing- when it’s snowing outside, to soak in a warm jacuzzi was so memorable for our New Years Eve! . The staff is genuinely caring- Dilnaz was incredible and went out of her way to help us have the best experience. We would come back to stay here!

Great place especially when Great people do visit it.

50 cent and his team did stay there during our stay. What I did not like is that 50 cent thought that he did pay for all hotel and his security were following him within SPA area and they did even stop others next to the sauna room entrance meanwhile Mr Curtis was in there. It was funny but we were happy that his security did not block the door of SPA Pool area. So we did went into Sauna when he came out :) .
