This is a former Mariotte hotel, so it still provides for a good quality service. Check in was fast, staff is very responsive and eager to help. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, very good breakfasts with a large variety of hot and cold dishes. There’s also an option to order eggs of your choice. The pool is large enough to swim and rather deep, however the water was too cold to relax in it. The views are splendid, ours was facing the opera theatre and the Shatyr shopping mall.

Overall impression is that the renovation is very much needed both in the main venues and rooms and in spa. Hammam was not working half of the time and when it was, it wasn’t pleasant to be in. The Executive lounge should have more options rather than one type of cookies and occasional m&ms. Hot food is served once a day in the evening, actually was delicious.

The location is excellent, with various attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. The staff were courteous and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

I stayed in early May, and the room was a bit chilly in the evenings. Unfortunately, it was not possible to make the room warmer. The soundproofing was not ideal, and the traffic noise from the roads was quite noticeable.

The hotel is actualy named Mariott and located very close to the extended length park where all interesting arhitecture buildings are located. Here are also good food restaurants, although the hotel itself has a nice 27th top floor restaurant.Beside this, there is an large indoor pool with sauna and gym, wonderful for spending some relaxing hours. My executive room was large, with beautiful view over the city, wonderfull bed and soft pillows, a very quiet air conditioner and modern toilett room with shower and even bidet. The breakfast was excellent and served many items of different tasty food, including lovely fresh brewed capucino. I will definitivelly stay there again.

Only some minor things I did not liked, with the not really hygienic carpet in the room (I would prefer easy to clean hard wiod floor or tiles) and the absence of english talking movies on TV. But these are not really items to be desliked.

The hotel is beautiful and is in a good location near to the shopping mall. The rooms were stunning and massive and I got a beautiful view too!

The elevators take too long to come. The hotel had an event so was very very busy. I was not allowed to check in early (which i suppose is not something to expect) but in most hotels in Central Asia they let you.

Loved the location and the staffs.

Did not like the breakfast buffet much as not much selections. And I think the hotel needs to stop putting pork out for buffet because Astana now caters to a lot of halal client who wouldn't prefer seeing pork.

Whenever I come to Astana, I stay in this hotel and there is a reason for it. Always good service, facilities for an acceptable price. What I like most is a combination of all, very good breakfast, clean SPA area with extended opening hours, cosy rooms with all comfort you need and many more things

I learned, that the SAAD hotel is not related to Marriott Bonvoy guest program anymore. That's a pity.

The hotel front desk staff was very kind and always responded with a bright smile. I visited Kazakhstan again for the first time in 10 years, and I am grateful for the hotel that made it a good memory. I will visit again if I have a chance.

I made a reservation for 4 rooms, and I had to wait because the hotel couldn't confirm 1 reservation. Eventually, one room was upgraded to a good room. The advantage was good. However, one of the female colleagues was assigned to a smoking floor (my reservation was, of course a non-smoking room) and asked the hotel to change room. But I was told to wait a day because there is no room available now. In the end, it was a little disappointing that I requested it again and upgraded it. In the case of my room, the water pressure was very low(I'm a typical Korean guy who's not sensitive, so I don't really care, but the water pressure was too much.), so I asked for repair, but there was no significant change.

The door connecting my room with the one next t me was unlocked. I have called front desk twice to have someone lock the doors. Receptionist was friendly and professional and said they will send someone, but the door remained unlocked till I checked out the next day. Gladly, the room next to me was unoccupied

Breakfast was very good and the sitting arrangement was nice. Rooms. were nice and comfy beds. The shower facility of hot and cold water was there all the time. Location is very close to khan Shatyr. We got the good view from the room as we were placed on the 13th floor.

We felt the air-conditioning at night had fluctuation on the temperature however during the day it was fine.

Fantastic hotel in every way! Elegant, spotlessly clean hotel, with nice decor, friendly English-speaking staff, a good location, and a great breakfast. One of the best hotels I stayed at during my Central Asia journeys. You cannot miss the top floor hotel and bar... stunning!
