The facility is stunning 😍. Simple yet elegant architecture with coconut & frangipani trees dotted all over. The food was sumptuous & made to order. Above all else, the staff were amazing. From the cool welcome from Rose & Tracey to Shaaban, phillip, and the rest in the kitchen, of course Victorina, Fatma, Janet, Adam, and Ken. Bernard, though, capped it all - he's gifted in customer service. He made our stay memorable. Bravo to the team at Billionaire Resort 👏

While the rooms were tastefully furnished with generous space, we thought some items should have been included like iron, blow dry, robes for the guests

Our waiter Robert was extremely helpful and made some of the best cocktails that I've had in Kenya! I also loved how quiet and peaceful everything was- especially at Lion in the Sun. Everything is beautiful and I really enjoyed being able to move freely between the two locations. I also had one of the best massages in the spa, thanks to Naomi!

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were extremely attentive- however more so to their Italian guests. It is a strange dynamic and despite the service being great overall, it is hard not to notice how the staff go above and beyond for their Italian guests whilst you may be left waiting to even place your order. The restaurant menu is a bit limited and a few options were hit and miss. The cocktails are also far better at the Lion in the Sun location. Lastly, double-check your bills- a few had been added to our final bill which were removed when raised with the manager.

Beautifully appointed rooms, lovely pool and gazebo on the beach, friendly and helpful staff especially Matteo and the fellow at the pool. Grilled food was excellent.

The fact staff forgot to lock the back door and after I complained forgot to lock the doors to the terrace. Better to let people go get what they want at breakfast instead of wasting so much food.

The resort is not only beautiful, comfortable and clean, with lots of nice facilities, but also can help you organize some activities for fun, for example, snorkeling, dhow barbecue, trip to Marafa Hell’s Kitchen… It’s actually the best place in Malindi.

The owners were amazing hosts and were really responsive to our needs and super approachable and invested in our stay being as excellent as it could be. We were not entirely happy with an excursion we did and gave feedback on it. The hostess took the initiative to actually rectify it without any expectation from us so it was a lovely surprise. The food was also excellent.

The staff were exceptionally good and helpful. Munga is a great driver, Shaban, Robert and Sebastian offered excellent service. The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. I am thoroughly impressed.

The WiFi was a bit slow.

The food could have been better. For the price and the hotel being a 5* they need to invest in a 5* chef!

The staff was great but Ben has been spectacular!! He provided me an excellent tailored service throughout my stay. I’m very grateful!!
