The location is excellent, right in the middle of the park. In the morning, a baboon visited our balcony and we saw a lion family eating a zebra only 100 meters away from our room. Wonderful! Food was very good and staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived really late and Cecilia kindly waited us with dinner ready.

Rooms are quite old and basic for the price of the hotel. There was only one socket to charge the phone, wifi didn’t work in the room, bathroom was old and when you showered, the entire floor was soaking wet. Minor details if you are staying only one night. The location is worth it!

Beautiful views of the park, excellent bird watching, animals very close to the swimming pool, even got to see lions come close to the lodge! The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful. there are opportunities for game drives, horseback riding, and massages.

The park charges $60 per person PER DAY to even enter, and the Lodge was not clear on that extra charge. if you’re staying several days, that could add hundreds of dollars onto your stay. Drinks are not included in the all inclusive price.

The breakfast was delicious. It was also helpful to get information via what’s app.

Someone tipped a worker there in US dollars, as in one dollar bills. One dollars bills can’t be exchanged at most Kenyan banks so the worker was stuck with a useless tip. I know tips are personal and private but it would be nice if guests knew that ahead of time and could include the tip in the method of payment for their lodge stay. Perhaps the lodge could then pass that tip onto the employee. I don’t think it is good for the worker to approach a guest to help with exchanging the bills, and that happened to us. We did help with the exchange because we actually live in Kenya, but I don’t think it is a good practice. In our business, we see and hear about some Kenyans who take advantage of naive visitors.

Great location, autethnic atmosphere, an bonfire in the evening, good food . And of course, the sounds of birds and the great view give relaxation.

We haven't been warned about payment for the entrance to the National park. I have not seen this information on the booking.com , although an receptionist told me that we must have missed it. So, calculate aprox + 50$ plus per person for the stay, otherwise you can not enter the park. We spent aprox 1 hour standing near the Park gate, for clarification and for the pay. You can not pay with a credit card, you can not pay cash, only M-pesa (!) We did not like this part at all.

Beautiful lodge in Nakuru park. The all inclusive meals were very good with nice variety of meats & veggies & fruits. Staff was very attentive, friendly & responsive. We enjoyed our time. We appreciated the welcome fruit basket, juices & free coffee/tea during the day. Very lovely spa with wonderful massages & facials. Ask for Penny, she provided a thorough treatment & relaxing massage. The view & serenity of the place are exceptional. Johnny is a very personable & friendly Englishman that can assist with horse riding & game drives.

Everything was great. You do have to pay the daily park fee to be at the lodge. Currently $60/person/day.

The food was overall delicious and plenty of options. The evening buffet was particularly fantastic! The staff were extremely attentive and as we stayed on NYE they had a great family and couple friendly plan for the evening. Being in the game reserve is amazing! We saw lots of animals and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.

The rooms are slightly worn and the view we had was of the reception area.

Food was okay but a little more variety would be excellent. The location is perfect for Safari.

A little more information would be helpful. For example that the restaurant is inside the park and the only access is via a personal vehicle or tour company. Information on car rental in Nakuru or tour companies would be helpful to people not familiar with the park.

Great location with an amazing view of the national Nakuru Park from the room. Unbelievably beautiful sunset. On our first day, we got a flat tire, and Danson (General Manager) organized all logistics and repair, so we got our tire back within a few hours. Huge thanks, Danson! Asante sana!

Loved the location and deck off the room. The food was great and it’s so close to the park. THE STAFF WERE AMAZING 😻

The lodge needs to have a 5 gallon water dispenser for guests to fill up their cups and reusable water bottles. They need to stop using plastic water bottles. We were very thirsty as it’s dry in Kenya and I hated ordering water in those bottles.
