the ac was great. the shower was the best part. good water pressure. having a barrier in between the toilet and shower is what I’m used too

the cleaning ladies. never left toilet paper or even went into the bathroom. I didn’t have any shampoo or conditioner to use

rooms were as expected, comfy beds, nice bathroom, great location and super friendly staff! especially the lady at the tour info that got us a last minute transfer to our next destination, thank you so much!

toilet got clogged twice in 2days, but also got immediately fixed the same day, not that big of a deal

Hotel is very modern & clean, our room was quiet with comfy bed & good shower. Complementary water & room service every day. Pool was top floor building 4 across the road, small pool but clean & fresh with bean bags to chill on. We felt it was more for the younger generation but it did not phase us & we were very comfortable there, also thought it was perfect for backpackers like us. Reception is also a cafe which sold fabulous pastries & coffee. Walk outside & it’s the main road with plenty shops, cafes & restaurants. The road takes you straight to the beach where you can watch the sun set followed by a wonderful fire show in the evening

Nothing, all was good for us

This hostel isn't the most luxurious but the effort the staff make to create a cool, warm and welcoming vibe is something I haven't expereinced before. I stayed at the Funky Monkey hostel the night before and of the Fullmoon party. P1 was the Thai lady serving the drinks behind the bar. She was very sweet and warm. The night before Julius, who is extremely friendly, prepared a bbq for all the guests in the hostel which was completely free. This was a fantastic way of mingling and getting to know people. The night of the Fullmoon party UV paint which was qlso free was provided and the atmosphere was vibrant. I'll never forget the hospitality shown by the staff. Would highly recommend.

Great location, 5 min walk to Ao Nang beach, and 5 minute walk to the monkey trail - in the centre of town, we had a room by the road but it still was quiet. Good places to eat right outside, they also have a 24/7 cafe in the hotel you can go to for snacks and drinks with a water dispenser too Laundry facilities to use, gym, and rooftop pool, also a room to work in called the hub Had live music every night and a bar which was great and free to watch (no drink needed!) Aircon worked well Friendly staff - have a tour desk inside to help organise anything!

There were quite a few long black hairs around the room and in the bed - this is the only negative!

Everything was such good quality - bedding, bathroom, aircon, gym, pool etc. The staff were all very helpful too, and the bar/cafe had the best croissants in Thailand! Lots of amazing restaurants nearby, I recommend Bawarchi Delight Indian Restaurant. The gym had a cable machine which is rare in hotel gyms, so that was appreciated! Pool was a good design on the rooftop too.

We spoke to some other guests who had used the laundry facilities and they warned us that their clothes weren’t dry after using the dryer - so we then knew not to wash our clothes here.

The bed was very comfortable, room was a good size and everything was very clean. The 24 hour cafe is really useful, all the staff were wonderful. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but hung out there for an hour and the area is cosy. I like that there’s a laundry room too. Very useful! Location is excellent too, easy walk to everything you need in Ao Nang.

It would’ve been nice to have a kettle in the room to be able to make coffee but I guess if you’re that desperate, you can always drop by the 24 hour cafe and get hot water there!

We loved the staff, and they were really quick fixing our problems. Another really interesting thing was the free water at the reception. You can refill your bottle as many times as you want.

When we arrived our room had a really bad smell, we could not stay there but gladly the staff was super helpful in finding another room for us. The smell in the next room was not perfect, but it was doable for a couple of nights. There is not much storage space, and the room was not super clean.

The room was clean. Excellent rooftop pool. The staff was very helpful. It was at a walkable distance from Ao Nang beach. There were many breakfast, lunch, and dinner places around the hotel, so it was really easy to get food whether its in the morning or really late at night.

Some days there weren't towels in our room. There is a place next to the reception where we can pick up towels for swimming, but there weren't any towels on the shelves most of the time. Also our safe was locked when we checked in to our room, so we had to call the staff to open it (I think they should have checked the safe before the check out of the person before us because there was stuff inside the safe)
